* Customer purchased Randall Warhead amplifier on our website March 2, 2016, after sending several emails back & forth concerning the freight charges from KY to CanadaWe quoted a freight charge of $to Canada so the customer decided to have the amp shipped UPS ground to Texas for $In
the email he said "Just have to fly out to Texas to pick this up"* Amplifier was shipped UPS ground to TX on March 3, and tracking # was emailed to customer* Return policy printed on receipt (hour notification after delivery)* March 4, -- received email from customer thanking us for "letting him hear the amplifier over the phone"* Did not hear from customer until June 22, 2016, weeks after shipmentIn that email, customer said he "had it shipped to a friends place then shipped to myself (just to cut the costs) which ended up taking quite a while to get across the border"* Customer stated in the Revdex.com complaint however, that he "headed over that way in April and picked it up"* Customer also stated that he "got the product home about weeks after purchase, only to find it doesn't work"* I have documentation of all of the correspondence I am referring toIn conclusion, our return policy/warranty covers items shipped to the customer's selected destinationThe customer then has hours to check out the item and notify the store if there is a problem and/or the item is to be returnedThe customer had the item shipped to a location in Texas and apparently did not have the item checked out for weeksIn one email he states that his friend shipped it to Canada ("just to cut the costs")In the Revdex.com complaint he says he went to Texas and brought the amp back. Either way, the customer did not have the item checked out upon receipt in Texas (where we shipped it)We cannot be responsible for items that are re-shipped, and the hour notification requirement was 15+ weeks lateThank you, *** *** *** Music Go Round SHurstbourne Pkwy Louisville, KY ###-###-####

Review: So MGR doesn't make any deals...I get it. You lost some of my business, but I understand. But MGR wouldn't honor my tax exempt status? I'm a retailer in IL, as well as manufacturer, and run several instrument companies, and was in WI for the weekend and wanted to pick up a couple guitars. Because there was no deals, I put most back and grabbed one, but then the associated stated they couldn't honor tax-exemptions unless I had pre-filled out forms and been put into the system. This is boarder-line illegal in IL, though I'm not sure the laws in WI. You lost all my business. Not only does this hurt MGR, it hurts my business when I'm not able to pickup items to repair and retail.Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to purchase the silver sparkle gretsch guitar w/ gig bag at the same price as advertised in the store (or less!), with no tax, shipped to me in IL at no cost.

Response:

1) The customer is correct, we are a fixed price store. We proudly offer all of our customers the same low price on every item in the store.
