We are mainly a sheet music distributor for various publishers around the world We hold copyright and publishing agreements with each publisher that varies for different reasons Recently, part of our agreements with choral music publishers specifically required a change to our minimum purchase amounts As these pieces are intended to be performed by an ensemble, a minimum number of copies per order is enforced This is exactly like traditional pre-printed sheet music a customer would purchase from a publisher of choral music, where a minimum number of copies need to be purchased as well (the industry standard is currently 6) Currently, if a customer orders a single non-choral piece they purchase at a higher price (normally around $5), then for additional copies they receive a discounted price that depends on the arrangement type However, due to the nature of how we must deliver choral pieces specifically (minimum of copies) the price of each copy is a flat $per copy, making a total purchase $ Again, this is due to the contracts and agreements we have with the publishers of the sheet music specifically, and there is messaging on the website in several places to this affect In our contact with the customer we explained this as well, and our current policy is to enforce the minimum copy purchase in accordance with our publisher contracts In this case we understand that this may be confusing to customers who have encountered this for the first time, and have now credited all but one copy of the sheet music, as a one-time exception, and on the specific permission of the publisher this one time The customer may verify this has been done by returning to their account history to see the additional copies have been cancelled We do not have control over when the credit will post to their card, but have indeed credited the order In the future, the customer should be aware that all choral pieces (the arrangement type is indicated on product pages) will have this print minimum, and to avoid needing to purchase copies, they should look for a different, non-choral arrangement of the desired music We hope this clears things up, and encourage the customer to contact us with any additional questions regarding this issue

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They gave me access so I could print, but the response makes it sound like it was my mistake. The account makes it clear I have "some number" left to print. One song obeyed the promise and one didn't until they fixed it after this complaint. There was a lot to "learn" the first time using this account. I wasn't clear that it would come by email and that I would have to pay here cents a page to print it out. And they said to contact them first (before the Revdex.com, which I understand) but then don't supply the promised button.Have a nice day

We are mainly a sheet music distributor for various publishers around the world.  We hold copyright and publishing agreements with each publisher that varies for different reasons.
Recently, part of our agreements with choral music publishers specifically required a change...

to our minimum purchase amounts.   As these pieces are intended to be performed by an ensemble, a minimum number of copies per order is enforced.  This is exactly like traditional pre-printed sheet music a customer would purchase from a publisher of choral music, where a minimum number of copies need to be purchased as well (the industry standard is currently 6).
Currently, if a customer orders a single non-choral piece they purchase at a higher price (normally around $5), then for additional copies they receive a discounted price that depends on the arrangement type.  However, due to the nature of how we must deliver choral pieces specifically (minimum of 6 copies) the price of each copy is a flat $1.95 per copy, making a total purchase $11.70.  Again, this is due to the contracts and agreements we have with the publishers of the sheet music specifically, and there is messaging on the website in several places to this affect.
In our contact with the customer we explained this as well, and our current policy is to enforce the minimum copy purchase in accordance with our publisher contracts.  In this case we understand that this may be confusing to customers who have encountered this for the first time, and have now credited all but one copy of the sheet music, as a one-time exception, and on the specific permission of the publisher this one time.  The customer may verify this has been done by returning to their account history to see the additional 5 copies have been cancelled.  We do not have control over when the credit will post to their card, but have indeed credited the order.
In the future, the customer should be aware that all choral pieces (the arrangement type is indicated on product pages) will have this 6 print minimum, and to avoid needing to purchase 6 copies, they should look for a different, non-choral arrangement of the desired music.
We hope this clears things up, and encourage the customer to contact us with any additional questions regarding this issue.

Review: I have purchased several pieces of music from Music Notes (always only 1 copy)...Most recently I was charged for six copies = $11.70, which should have been only $1.95. This amount was debited from my bank account and was an obvious error. When I contacted the company they said there was an automatic increase on certain pieces of music made by the company .(again, which is not what I ordered).: and they refused to refund the additional amount of money which should have amounted to $9.75. I contacted them, informed they of the error and asked nicely for them to refund this amount and when they refused I told them I would be contacting the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want my bank card credited immediately with the $9.75 they overcharged me.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: When you go to the web site to buy the sheet music, this statement shows right above your sample:

"This is a just a sample. You will receive the full piece upon purchase."

But as soon as you buy it you just have access to the title and first page of the music sheet.

They say it is because the product type is musicnotes edition - but it does not say anywhere it includes just the first page.Desired Settlement: Just give me the money back, since I had to go to a different website and buy the whole music.

Review: I bought 2 pieces of music, 5 copies each. They are delivered online to my email and I print as many copies as I want at a time. When I first got it, I printed one copy of each. Today, I can print another copy of "What a Wonderful World", but it has blocked and I cannot print any of "We Are the World". It says if I have problems to contact Customer Service and when I look at that page, it says to click the "Request" button on every page. Well, there is none on any page and no other way to report the issue.Desired Settlement: Either give me access or refund. It's on a credit card.
