Muski Country Budget Auto Reviews (4)

I bought a vehicle from muski country auto. Mike was very fair with the price. A couple months ago my fiance bought a vehicle and had some issues with it and it was very frustrating. Mike made sure everything was fixed and made sure we were satisfied as customers.

Very negative. These people lied to us several times. First they said if we put down a payment so they could see what we could get on a car loan, and we changed our mind, all we had to do was stop in and they would immediately refund the money. Did NOT happen and we are still waiting for the refund (we gave them cash and immediate return to us is the refund right then/there, but no, they said they had to get a hold of accountant and they would MAIL us a check...so wait for them to write check, wait for mail, wait for it to clear bank). They said they are in a program where a bank HAS to accept us for a loan, then they called us telling us bank won't accept unless we put double down what we told them we were willing to put as a down payment. (another scam we found out...as it was for them to "buy" into insurance for our loan). We told them how much we wanted to put down on a vehicle and were told "no problem."

Review: Purchased a truck from Muski Budget and also purchased a warranty with the truck. However, Muski did not have a service department and when called an spoke with them they told us to take it to a service shop to fix. So we took the truck to an ASC certified dealer to fix. They told us that the rod was going out on the engine and also the rear engine was shot. The warranty we purchased we found out would only cover 2500 max on the truck. The cost for repairs to vehicle is 7400. We called Muski and he stated that was outragous and that to bring it to him and he would get the repairs done cheaper. However, in the meantime the cost for looking at the vehicle will not be covered and he want us to bring the truck back to his dealership. We found out also that if there is any additives that was added to engine that the warranty would be null an voided. We have had this truck for only a little of 2 months and my son did an oil change and that is when we noticed the huge noise coming from the engine. All we wanted was a decent vehicle. We paid over 8800 for this vehicle with the warranty that was suppose to cover bumper to bumper. We can not afford to pay another 7500 for repairs. That would be an 12000 truck when finished. We could have bought a new one for that price.Desired Settlement: pay the service at V & H and a different vehicle with no issues or fix this one with no out pocket money from us.

DEAR Revdex.com, ITS BEEN SOME TIME SENSE WE HAVE HAD COMPLAINTS OF ANY KIND AND BELEAVE ME BEING A LOW COST LOW PROFIT BUDGET LOT THAT IS A TALL ORDER. LETS SET THE TABLE HERE SO THAT WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME PLAYING FIELD. WE WILL FIRST SAY THAT THERE ISNT ANOTHER DEALER IN THE STATE THAT DOES OUR VOLUME THAT CAN CLAIM SUCH AN AMAZING RECORD OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. WE WOULD ALSO SAY WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TO COURT ON A MECHANICAL ISSUE AND DONT EVEN NO THE NAME OF AN ATTORNEY FOR REPRESENTATION. -NEVER NEEDED ONE. NOW HERE WE COME!! WITH THE UT MOST RESPECT TOWARDS ALL OUR CUSTOMERS WE WOULD HAVE TO SAY THIS COMPLAINT BOTHERS US THE MOST AS THE CUSTOMER DOESNT STATE THE FACTS AS THEY HAPPENED AND HAS TWISTED THE TRUTHS AND LEFT OUT KEY INFORMATION TO THERE BENIFIT. YES WE DID TELL THEM TO FOLLOW THE WARRANTY PEOPLES INSTRUCTIONS AND THEY WERE ADVISED BY THEM WE ASSUME TO TAKE THE TRUCK TO A SAE MECHANIC AS ALL WARRANTYS ADVISE. WE SEE THAT THEY TOOK THE TRUCK TO V&H FORD WICH SURPRIZES US FOR 2 REASONS-THE #1,THEY ARE A COMPETEING DEALER AND IN WIS. WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE OF THIS SORT THE CONSUMER IS SUPPOSE TO TAKE THERE AUTO TO A NUETRAL PARTY AND NOT A COMPETING DEALERSHIP. THE 2ND THING THAT SURPRIZED US WAS WERE THEY TOOK IT! ITS NO SECRETE THAT MARSHFIELD HAS A LOT OF WEALTHY DOCTORS AND STAFFERS THAT GO ALONG WITH BEING ONE OF THE MEDICALFIELDS BEST PLACES IN THE WORLD AND V&H FORD IS WERE ALL THE PEOPLE WITH MONEY AND THERE SPOUSES TAKE THERE STUFF. ALSO WHY WOULD YOU TAKE A DODGE TRUCK TO A FORD DEALER. WE SUSPECT THAT THE CUSTOMER HAS INSIDER HELP ON THIS CLAIM AND IS BEING COACHED. THE CUSTOMER DID GET A BILL TO US AND YES IT WAS SO OUT IN LEFT FIELD THAT NO ONE COULD TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. WHEN WE GOT THE BILL WE ASKED THE CUSTOMER TO BRING IN THE TRUCK SO THAT WE COULD ASSESS IT(WE WOULD PAY A MATURE DECORATED SEASONED DODGE SPECIALIST AT OUR EXPENSE FOR OPIONS ON THE ISSUES PUT FORTH - REVIEWING ALL THE CLAIMS THAT V&H FORD HAS PUT FORTH) AND SO FAR THE CUSTOMER HAS NOT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF OUR GENEROUS OFFER. WE WERE AND STIL ARE HERE TO PROTECT THERE INTEREST. WE WERE SURPRIZED THAT THE CUSTOMER DIDNT COLLECT OR ARRAINGE AT V&H THE BILL PAYMENT . NORMALY IF THE WARRANTY COMPANY SAYS TO TAKE IT TO A PLACE FOR AN OPION THE- WHO PAYS WHAT AND WHEN THING- IS WORKED OUT AHEAD OF TIME-ANOTHER SUSPISIOUSE MOVE ON THE CUSTOMERS PART?? HMMMM!! THERE WERE MANY THINGS IN THE 7,400$ BILL THAT WERE JUST MAINTENANCE RELATED OR THINGS THAT MIGHT NEED TO BE DONE IN THE FUTURE AND V&H WAS SUGGESTING THEY BE INCLUDED IN THERE ESTIMATE. THERE ARE DODGE MOTORS OUT THERE FOR 400 TO1800 DOLLARS AND THE COST TO PUT THEM IN IS ABOUT 600-1000$ THE REST OF THE ISSUES ARE FABRICATED OR MAINTENANCE WE THINK BUT CANT SAY AS WE HAVE NOT INSPECTED THE TRUCK OUR SELVES AFTER THE COMPLAINT CAME UP. THE OTHER THING THE CUSTOMER HAS AVOIDED IS THAT THEY WERE TOWING A LARGE CAMPER WITH THE TRUCK THEY TOLD US AND THE MOST COMMON THING TO GO WRONG WHEN TOWING IS A BLOWEN ROD.THIS TRUCK IS A LITE DUTY 1500 AND IS NOT MADE FOR WHAT WE HEARD THEY WERE USING IT FOR. A 3500 OR AT THE LEAST A DH 2500 SHOULD BE BEING USED FOR THAT TYPE OF TOWING. FRIENDS OF THERES HAVE CONTACTED US THAT THE CUSTOMER MIGHT BE TRYING TO GET ONE OVER ON US AND THE WARRANTY COMPANY BUT WE CANT STATE THAT IS A FACT AND DONT WANT TO GET INTO THE" HE SAID SHE SAID" THING BUT RATHER WE NEED TO STICK TO THE FACTS.THE CUSTOMER STATES THE SON DID AN OIL CHANGE AND ALSO IMPLIED THERE WAS ADDITIVE POSSIBLY IN THE OIL AND THAT WE ARE NOT AWARE OF BUT IT IS COMMON AND NOT UNUSUAL FOR OLDER HIGHER MILES AUTOS TO HAVE ADITIVES IN THEM AND AS A MATTER A FACT MOST PLACES UP SELL AND RECOMMEND THAT HIGHER MILES AUTOS USE THESE LIFE EXTENDING TREATMENTS TO GAIN ADDITIONAL YEARS OF SEVICE OUT OF THERE AUTOS. SO WE WOULDN,T BE SURPRIZED IF THE CUSTOMER PUT ADDITIVES IN OR IF THE PREVIOUSE OWNERS DID BUT WE WOULDNT KNOW.THE CUSTOMER TOOK THE TRUCK FOR 2 PRE-PURCHASE TEST DRIVES WITH FAMILY AND A FRIEND AND ALSO SIGNED DOCUMENTS STATING THAT EVERYTHING WAS WORKING AND THAT THEY WERE HAPPY WITH THE TRUCK AND THAT THEY HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE TRUCK AND THEY ALSO AGREED TO ARBITRATION AND NOT TO REACH OUT TO OTHER VENUES TO SETTLE DISAGREEMENTS . ALSO APR 10 DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE THE BANK CALLED (THIS BANK ALWAYS DOES A FOLLOW UP CONTACT TO MAKE SURE THE BUYERS ARE HAPPY)THE CUSTOMERS ASKING IF EVERYTHING WAS OK AND IF THEY WERE HAPPY WITH THE TRUCK AND THEY SAID THEY WERE AND THINGS WERE OK. WE WOULD ASK THAT THE CUSTOMER STOP SPEAKING BADLY AND FALSELY ABOUT OUR DEARLERSHIP AND RELATED PEOPLE WHO HELP US BE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS . WE STAND HERE READY TO HELP AND ASSIST IN ANY WAY WE CAN. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP IN THIS MATTER AND THE CHANCE TO HELP THE CUSTOMER AND TO DEFEND OUR STELLAR RECORD. SINCERLY MUSKI-[redacted]/MUSKI COUNTRY AUTO

Review: Purchased a Vehicle in November of 2013, constant service issues with the vehicle since purchase.

Check engine light came on about after 2 weeks of having vehicle

Told Dealer at time of sale of three tires that needed to be changed. Dealer stated would get taken care of. Had to replace them

Replaced the AC and Rear window(rear defrost was broken, dealer attempted fix, told me to repair it on my own)

Low engine oil level light on since purchased(was told it would go away, since it was winter time, I do understand that it can take time for the oil to lube up all the parts of the engine, never went away leaked oil constantly oil stained the concrete in my garage). Went to get oil changed, was told that the oil pan, and gasket where wore out. Told Dealer about it, stated that the warranty that came with the vehicle should cover it. Warranty didn't cover it, since car had too many miles on it. Told dealer twice about this issue, the second time on 5/2/2014, dealer seemed more interested in the people that were already there rather than us. Also tried to get us out the door as fast as possible.

Also would get a low Coolant level light, since the gasket was leaking it was also leaking coolant, began to leak coolant at an alarming rate. Along with oil. Had to fill the coolant every week or so, began to over heat, even after putting in coolant. Car over heated several times, called dealer for help, dealer seemed uninterested in helping me. Told dealer of problem, stated if I had looked for a used replacement gasket and oil pan(now I might not know a lot about vehicles, don't believe buying a used gasket would be the wisest thing), Dealer stated that would see if could get his service guy to look at it and call me back. Never called me back about issue. Was contacted by by finance company for payment. Told them about the issues I had with the dealer. Finance company contacted me back, stated that the dealer is willing to work with me get me into another vehicle. Brought vehicle back, put me into another car for the weekend.

Drove the car off the lot wasn't even a block away from the dealer, and the check engine light came on. (had dealer check code, E-vap error, was the same error that I had with the vehicle I bought from them originally) Dealer replaced gas cap since it was worn out, check engine light came back on(took to a local auto zone was the same code), Also temp gauge was close to over heating on the second day I had it. Brought it back on that Monday. Told the dealer I did appreciate it, that he did give us the vehicle for the weekend, but with the same problems that I had with the first vehicle. I don't wish to pay for something that isn't working and constantly needs repairs.

I understand that I bought a used car, from a used car dealer, who get his cars from a local auction. And its bought as is, but when I had purchased the vehicle, if I had any issues, that I could come to them and they could see what they could do about it. Granted he did fix an issue early on, when my car wouldn't start any more, also at that time he did clear the check engine light, and told me it wouldn't come back on. Also with him trying to push me out the door after I told him of a service issue. Also when I called them after my car had over heated and I barely made it to work, and the dealer told me he would call me back and never did.

Also a warranty that didn't cover an issue when it needed to be desperately repaired.

I feel that I should not have to pay for the remaining balance after the vehicle is sold. based on the lack of help that I received.Desired Settlement: Not to have to pay the remaining balance of the Vehicle since I have turned it over to the dealer

thank you for bringing this to our attention. seems like once a year we get that special customer who tries to play everyone in every direction. this is one of those customers. mr. [redacted] has been playing us,the bank and the garage repair centers and warranty company sense the day he took delivery. he has returned the car to our location at the suggestion of the bank that he wasnt paying. mr. [redacted] was apr.1500?$ and 85 days behind as well as the bank taking 2 payments that he was late and tacking them to the end of the loan to help out. also the car was returned with several thousand dollars damage and the bank im sure suspects mr. [redacted] pocketed the money paid out on his claim(s)?. the dash light mr. [redacted] is refering to we think regarding low oil isn,t a low oil lite but a lite that stays on until re-set after an oil change. the lite goes off by simply unhooking the battery cable to reset the lite. several weeks after delivery mr. [redacted] did say he wanted a better oil pan and gasket and we shared with him that those are not warranty items and are not covered under his extended service agreement we thought! we shared with him that at the local used suppliers locations a newer used pan is apr 20$ and a gasket can be bought for less than ten dollars and put on by any jr. high auto mechanic student or by himself. you tube shows you how to do it in 15 minutes or less by yourself. also just before he gave the auto back to the bank he said that the car over-heated and used that reason for giving it back he told us. we told him that it sounded like the thermostate gave out and that 11$ is what one cost at the auto store and that he could put that on the auto by him self.again u-tube shows you how to do it in ten minuets by yourself using just a box wrench and srewdriver. my grilfriend just did hers in ten minutes by herself.thermostates commonly fail and are easy to replace. replacement is considered normal maintenace as is reseting the oil lite after a oil change.regarding the customer working over the bank- the customer made a small interest only 50$payment in june and then no payments after that(june-july-aug.) not made plus his 2 months of differed end of the note payments bringing his free use of the car to almost 5 months. in an effort to work with mr. [redacted] we allowed him to take an impala home and drive it. we told him we would work something out with him that was agreeable to all parties(bank-us and him) he brought the car back several days later stating that he simply didnt want payments and that he was going forward with the surrender of the chevy as payments just didnt agree with him. we feel that everyone but him went way over backwards to keep this customer happy but the system got played by him and he,s not done yet-as this complaint suggest he not beheld responsible for the payments or up-keep of the car and that everyone should just take care of him and that he is un accountable for anything involving the cars ownership or the damages he caused to the car or the benifits/insurance settlements we think he pocketed instead of putting that money towards the car as required by his contract with us and the bank. it is him and the bank that need to settle this and that will be done when the bank can finalize its numbers im sure. we dont understand why he is involving us in his latest request ? it is an issue him and the bank should work out. please let us know if this is satisfactory . always here to help. muski country auto/[redacted] have a great end of summer.
