We received an emergency flood response call to extract waterWhen we showed up the husband was removing items from the rooms, we assisted himWe are not aware of any items being broken by our staffThe trim was not ripped off the walls, it was removed with flat bars, the sheetrock was wet,
therefore some denting in the sheetrock was done above the trim especially by the corners where it is nailed from two different directions, this is unavoidable, especially when the sheetrock is wetThis is something we normally with fix, but we were told not to come back because she said she would have her contractor fix itWe agreed that we should pay for the broken trim and the touch up of walls down by the base, like I said, we would normally do that, but she chose to have her contractor take care of itWe never said that we would not pay for the trim and touchupWe have not seen an invoice to pay for those costs from her contractor to this pointThe only item I knew was broken, was something that was under the bed and it was broken when we pulled it out from under the bed, and *** the husband was there, and he said to toss itThe homeowner apparently also hired some teenagers to move contentsAs far as the statement regarding the hours of labor, we did indeed work hours on this jobThe computer program had nothing to do with the amount of hours we worked on the job, and I never said it didThe computer program has to do with the cost of the rental of equipment, i.ehumidifiers and fans used on the jobThe woman stated that she knew I was there by myself and her son could verify that, but there was a crew of 2-people onsite at varied timesOne person came within an hour and a half or so of the call being made for flood response and started the water extraction, two other people with a van load of equipment showed up on the job to further assist within a few hours. As far as any personal belongings being broken, we were not aware of any belongings being broken or mishandled when helping the husband move contents into the furnace room.As far as returning the pump to us in Colville, ***, her husband was driving by another job on his way to see his customer and offered to return our pump to usThey were allowed to use this pump until he was able to purchase his own pumpWe brought a pump to this job and accessed his sump pump hole, which required breaking of concrete and extracting out the contents to place this sump pump that would work automatically by float activation so the customer would not have to keep turning a pump on manually every thirty minutes throughout the night for the next week to keep the house from re-floodingThis is something we did to make things easier for the customer. We did not acknowledge that we overcharged for labor hoursWe are unable to estimate a flood response and dryout job due to the nature of the workThe job needs to be completely dry and we cannot estimate how long that would take.I suggest you call ***, the husband, at *** to ask him what his thoughts are on our service. As far as the reduction in our billing, we said we would pay for the damage costs from her contractor, but have not received a statement for that workWe have many satisfied customers and stand by our work
