***, Again I am sorry for the experience you hadThe "tourque booster" parts were left in your trunk in the box that the new parts came to us inThe catalytic converters are here and I will gladly ship them back to you ASAPPlease call or email the shop to confirm your shipping address###-###-#### or *** Best regards, Joe

The customer supplied us with a Supercharger pulley, belt and blow off valveThe belt itself requires the whole supercharger to be removed in order to change itThe manufacturer of the parts did not supply any directions so I put my best technician on the vehicle (who has been here years)
He installed the new pulley and belt and attempted to install it in the car all to find that there is another pulley just as difficult to get to that needs to be relocatedWe then called the manufacturer (team beefcake racing) and they agreed but could not tell us how much to move the pulleyThat being said we moved the pulley one spot (approx3/of an inch) and re-installed the superchargerThis arrangement did not work either and we had to pull it apart and do it again, this time we moved it another 3/of an inch and assembled it one last time and it now worksAs far as the boost leak is concerned we would have gladly rectified if given the opportunityAs far as old parts are concerned if the customer does not request them at time of pick up we dispose of them as stated on a sign in our waiting areaBut I will see if they are still in the building and gladly return them

Review: I brought my GT Mustang in to have the pulley on the supercharger changed and a new blow off valve installed. A pulley swap on a supercharger is not extremely labor intensive however it took Mustang "Magic" almost all day to get it right. For perspective purposes, the whole supercharger kit was installed in one day. I paid the bill and was handed the keys and it was immediately clear the car was abnormally sluggish. I get the car home and check for any boost leaks and underneath the car I find a MASSIVE gap in the intercooler piping where they didn't slide the piping back into the sleeve and the buckle to clamp down on the sleeve was hanging off was loose. It didn't "accidently" come off it was simply never put back in place and this gross negligence could have easily caused excessive and detrimental damage to my car. The only thing magic about this is that my car didn't. Mustang magic also removed parts from my car and failed to return them to me and I would like to have those shipped back immediately.Desired Settlement: I want the parts that were removed from my car shipped back to me immediately and I would like a partial refund given the excessive time it took and the bad mechanical work they did.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

The day I was in the shop I never witnessed any sign stating that my car parts would become property of Mustang Magic as soon as they were wrenched off and I was never verbally asked if it was ok if they kept them. I never signed any work order signing over ownership of my car parts to the business and if that is their policy they need to make that crystal clear because in all my dealings with this business my parts have always been returned. As far as the boost leak – I did apprise the owner that my tuner, [redacted] viewed my data log and said I had a boost leak to which he answered that it could be tune related and our conversation quickly and abruptly ended. I felt rushed off the phone and no offer to rectify the problem was made and if they wanted to, that would have been the opportune time. Based on the difficulties they encountered with the install, reaction from the owner after telling him the car had a boost leak, and then finding the massive leak myself, in a professional sense my confidence and trust in this shop was shot. I took the car to another performance shop to have them go over Mustang Magic’s work and check for other mistakes which ended up costing me more money but was necessary. I am happy to report that no other leaks or problems were found and I respect that Mustang Magic did finally get the install of the parts correct however I do not view this as a fair or equitable transaction. My car could have suffered serious damage, I’m out parts, and I’ve had to spend more money to double check the work of this shop. With that, I will no longer seek any refund for labor charges however please return what is mine.
