migul is very good at what he does ,painting,remoldeling and anything in construction.He is honest and hard working.

The consumer indicated ONLINE that the business responded to this complaint to his/her satisfaction. He/she also stated:
My wife and I held off on sending the original complaint...

continuation because we got in contact with Mr. [redacted] the day after we filled out the complaint form, 4/15/14. [redacted] and I conversed and both agreed to set a meeting with all the "subcontractors" he hired to hopefully resolve this issue. We all met on 4/17/14 in my business place at approximately 6 pm.
The Contractors that were present are as follows: Carpenter- [redacted],
Plumber- [redacted]
HVAC- [redacted]
Electrician- [redacted]
and [redacted].
Each contractor got an opportunity to voice their perspective of this project and coincidently, each and every contractor pointed out that Mr. [redacted] was oblivious throughout the whole project.
The HVAC contractor, Mr. [redacted] told us that he had various issues trying to complete his part of the project because [redacted] would "change his mind" about the positioning of the ducts, when he had the DRAWINGS IN HAND!
Both the plumber and electrician brought up that they had the same problem and that they wasted additional material than expected because they were told by [redacted] to change the setup more than once.
Mr. [redacted] agreed to what the contractors stated, but in his defense he argued that "it would be the only way it would work with the finished rooms." After going back and forth with the contractors and [redacted] about non-payment, we all came up with a contract in which, at the moment, the amounts were approved my Mr. [redacted]. I even gave him the opportunity to choose a date in which he would have all the money he owed in his possession. (According to him, he did not have one cent!)
The contract that we put together was explained to him in its entirety and THE WHOLE CONVERSATION WAS RECORDED! Once we had the contract on paper, we called in a local Notary to witness the agreement. Mrs. [redacted], the notary that was present, witnessed the signature of every contractor including [redacted]. Once the contract was signed and a copy was given to Mr. [redacted], everyone went on their way without a problem.
The next day [redacted] showed up to my business saying that he was not feeling well the night before and that he had not agreed to the amounts on the contract. I simply told him that I did not want to see him around my property until the 17th of May with the money he owed me. He left with no argument.
On the 17th of May, I had my secretary call him to schedule a time in which he would be meeting me with my money. Mr. [redacted] did not answer the call but he did return the call roughly five minutes after. (A photograph of the caller ID is enclosed) According to my secretary, he told her the following "I'm not showing up and I am not handing a penny to [redacted] These contractors screwed me over! Tell him I am not refunding anything. He could do whatever he wants, if the wants to sue me he can but I am not paying anything!" I have not heard from him since and he has not even attempted to call ME (he has my cellphone number) or stop by with an explanation. I really hope this thief is penalized for doing this dirty deed to my family.
From what I know of, we are not the only ones, but I will not settle until I make sure we are the LAST! I thank you for your time.
