Review: Mr. [redacted] failed to explain the charges he collected from my bank account. After several attempts, no resolution.
Mr. [redacted] lied about the details of an invoice and failed to provide documentation relevant to billing inquiries. He instead tried to bargain with me for lesser charges. When I insisted he provide an itemized invoice, he called me ungrateful and told me he never wanted to speak to me again.
After letting him know I would be filing a complaint, he told me he would refund a portion of my claim, still unwilling to give me the detailed bill. I told him I wouldn't settle for anything less than knowing I had paid what was fair.
He continues to email me and tell me I got a deal when working with him, but I want to see that I paid what I actually owe per our agreement.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a full refund of all charges Mr. [redacted] collected because Mr. [redacted] has acted out of good faith thus far.
If he is able to provide documentation of the charges he believes I owe per our written agreement, then I am happy to address payment.

Business' Initial Response
Wow. Truly astounding. Absolutely nothing Ms. [redacted] has said is truthful. They are a mixture of distortions of the truth and flat out lies.
All of the charges were detailed in an itemized invoice that I submitted to her.
It should also be mentioned that I was able to successfully locate the father of her child in another city and in another state than where she thought he was (she believed he was in [redacted] CA, but I located him 500 miles away in [redacted], OR). The other investigator she hired was unable to find him and I'm certain that 95% of all other investigators would have been unable to find him. After I located him, I was able to successfully serve him. She admitted to me that she was ready to pay another investigator $1,000. I only charged her around $700. When I informed her that I had successfully located and served the father of her child, she immediately exclaimed, and I quote, "That was the best [redacted] money I've ever spent!!!". She soon decided that she didn't want to pay me for what I accomplished. What I billed her was fair and square, but she has proven to be the biggest "busy body", nightmare, pain in the [redacted] client that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in the 18 years I have been in business. To make her go away, I have agreed to give her the partial refund that she is requesting. We have come to this agreement though a mediator at the Bureau of Security and Investigative services. As I stated yesterday, I plan on mailing a check in the amount that she is requesting as soon as I get a chance, which I expect to be within the next week.
