This Kirby dealership sold my elderly mother a vacuum cleaner in December She lives in a rural area, and it is my belief that someone must have given them her name; this rural area, dotted with modest working farms, would not otherwise be in their marketing, door-to-door, prospective customer areaAnd of course the salespeople put on a convincing show for her regarding how wonderfully the Kirby machine performsMy mother ended up spending over $1,for a machine she doesn't needThey also offered what appeared to be numerous discounts, but when I search for this Kirby machine online, the list price matches the price they offered my Mom after the so-called "discounts." I have made repeated attempts to reach this business by phone to find out why they targeted my mother for a sale, but I have only gotten voice mail, and no one has ever returned my calls (I made numerous calls in December of and January 2016)They, in fact, apparently have no customer service available at allMy Mom wants to keep the machine; my complaint is about the utter lack of customer service in which no one at this business has bothered to return my calls and to address my concernsI would not recommend letting salespeople from this MWDC dealership (located in Wausau, WI) into your homeOnce you purchase a machine from them, there is a very limited time in which you can return it (their return policy is something like business days), but if you can never reach anyone in their office, then there is no way to return the machine, unless you take it in person (and even then, there is no guarantee that there is anyone in the office)This business, in my belief, preyed on my elderly mother, knowing full well that it would be impossible to reach them to get more information after the saleI am writing this review so that others will be aware of how this dealership conducts business

word-spacing: 0px; background- margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Dear Revdex.com representative,
In reply to complaint ID ***, *** ***, the customer never cancelled as stated on the contract she signed and dated on January 27, The salesman has been with our company for nearly years and has never once stated to the customer that they can just call and we will pick it up, as it is a written contract we expect written cancellation by the date specified on her contractThis is the same information we provided to her credit card company when the dispute came through them as well
The Kirby company has been in the area for over years and we ourselves have been here for six yearsWe do good business and always take care of our customersWhile we cannot cancel her contract because it was never sent we do take care of our customersWe can be their go to for supplies and service
Thank you,

This is the worst customer service ever. You should really explain the cancelation process as part of your 3 hour display. Now a days no one uses the phrase "telegram" anymore. One would think now a days that would be equivalent to a voicemail which was done numerous amount of times. Also you should have someone that works in the office for more than an hour a day and is aware of this "cancelation" process, so the first time she called me back to let me know someone else would be calling she could have informed me I needed to bring the sheet in as I clearly and repeatedly told her why I was calling. I will be informing everyone about this experience and strongly suggest they stay away from kirby as they will get no help after they leave your house . ok, I called the business on the 26th telling them I was sending in the cancellation. I told her she should get it the next day cause I was taking it to the post office so it would be post marked on the 26th. I asked if that was ok. She said as long as its post marked on the 26th. If she didn't get it she should of let me know. They never sent me a check till I called your business to complain. I told your business I wanted my money back and they said they would contact the dealer. Two days later a check came for 300.00. I sent it right back telling them I didn't want the vacuum. I have not touched it since they demonstrated it

This Kirby dealership sold my elderly mother a vacuum cleaner in December 2015. She lives in a rural area, and it is my belief that someone must have given them her name; this rural area, dotted with modest working farms, would not otherwise be in their marketing, door-to-door, prospective customer area. And of course the salespeople put on a convincing show for her regarding how wonderfully the Kirby machine performs. My mother ended up spending over $1,000 for a machine she doesn't need. They also offered what appeared to be numerous discounts, but when I search for this Kirby machine online, the list price matches the price they offered my Mom after the so-called "discounts."
I have made repeated attempts to reach this business by phone to find out why they targeted my mother for a sale, but I have only gotten voice mail, and no one has ever returned my calls (I made numerous calls in December of 2015 and January 2016). They, in fact, apparently have no customer service available at all. My Mom wants to keep the machine; my complaint is about the utter lack of customer service in which no one at this business has bothered to return my calls and to address my concerns.
I would not recommend letting salespeople from this MWDC dealership (located in Wausau, WI) into your home. Once you purchase a machine from them, there is a very limited time in which you can return it (their return policy is something like 3 business days), but if you can never reach anyone in their office, then there is no way to return the machine, unless you take it in person (and even then, there is no guarantee that there is anyone in the office).
This business, in my belief, preyed on my elderly mother, knowing full well that it would be impossible to reach them to get more information after the sale. I am writing this review so that others will be aware of how this dealership conducts business.

I would not have signed a contract or given my credit card information if there was no option of returning the product. The salesperson knew my husband was not able to stay for the demonstration and I wanted to verify any purchase in this amount with him prior, which is why he stated we would be able to call. As my husband stopped home he can also verify this was stated from the individual.  If we were not able to call why didn't he explain that you had to return the contract? That was not mentioned once even while he smoked two cigarettes on our porch. They have provided horrible customer service after the multiple phone calls we made, hung up and someone picking up the phone and stating it was not them, it's unacceptable.  We do not want this product, nor do we want any supplies for it. I wouldn't be disputing this if we were not told we could call that is why I started calling the next day after the demonstration.
