Mxi Corp. sells shake and chocolate and pills for antioxidant for health and weigh control benefit. There are no valid claims to any of the benefits, and you have to take their products in addition to doing all the other things for a typical diet to control weigh loss. The problem is that their shake contains some unknown ingredients and made me very sick. I tried to return the product and seek a refund. They totally refused even though some of the products I returned had never been opened. In addition, they claim that I should have tried the product before I purchased it. But their website never offers free sampling. This is totally false advertising and it is essentially you classic pyramid scheme to make money by selling cheap and questionable product at an elevated price. They have never fully revealed their ingredients, and this product is very dangerous to take as it made me vomit with severe stomach pain. No where in the website do they advertise free sample so that consumer can tell if the product is not dangerous for them. If no free sample, how can they refuse my refund on the account that I should have tried the product before I ordered it! Consumers need to be alerted that this is a scam! No valid claims to any of their advertised benefits, this business needs to be stopped.Product_Or_Service: shake mix and chocolateOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like a full refund, reimbursement for my medical expense, and a letter of full apology for totally misleading the consumers.

A couple of months ago, I ordered one box of MXI nuggets which were received and I was charged $142.95 on my credit card. About three weeks later, I was charged a second time for $142.95. I called the organization and learned that it was standard practice to put internet sales on a continuous shipment basis and charge your credit card even though the buyer didn't authorize such. The second shipment of non-ordered nuggets was returned and I received a credit of $127.95 ($142.95 - $15 shipping) A letter was written to the President expressing my disapproval of the co.'s policy of continuous, unauthorized, shipments and requested a credit of $24 ($15 deducted from my second charge for shipping plus $9 to return the non-ordered nuggets). To date, I haven't heard from the organization.Product_Or_Service: MXI nuggetsDesired SettlementA credit to my credit card for $24. ($15 deducted for shipping the non-ordered nuggets to me plus $9 to return the non-authorized nuggets to the organization).Final Consumer Response MXI Corp. sent a check for $24 a few weeks ago, which was my requested amount. No explanation or apology accompanied the bare check. This was not a good experience with MXI even though they did, with your help, make good on the shipment costs of the non-ordered product.

My first purchase thru an "auto ship" program was 11/26/13. I purchased through my doctor's office and therefore thought this program was more reputable because of their endorsement. However, come to find out, I tried to change my "auto ship" today and was told it shipped today, Jan. 20th; 6 days earlier than my original purchase date. As a new member of this program, joining around the holidays, recovering from my Father's fight and death from lung cancer in 2013 and my Mother's continued fight with cancer, I did not have the time to look into just what I supposedly had signed up for or [redacted]'s ability to change the delivery date from my original sign up date. [redacted]'s customer service was extremely slow in answering the phone as well as rude in their conversation. They took no responsiblity for their action and blamed me and the person who signed me up, not even listing the correct person who actually signed me up. I had to tell them her name. The first time I called I asked to speak to a supervisor only to be switched to a voicemail that offered a return to an operator that was never available. I finally called back to the original number and supposedly got a supervisor by the name of [redacted] who said she would email the warehouse but if it was already mailed I would have to return the product for a refund at my own cost minus a $30 fee. So I'm out of pocket for the return shipping fees and the $30 fee. From my point of view, I called 6 days prior to my original sign up date of 11/26/13 presuming that would be plenty of time for cancellation of this auto ship order. This company is all about "auto ship", the money, and no grace or forgiveness. It has not even helped significantly with weight loss. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] chocolateAccount_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementStop the shipment or be provided a paid return label by [redacted] and no $30 charge. I expect to receive the free product my two previous auto ship orders gave me credit for and then I want out.Business Response [redacted], when you were signed up with a distributorship with MXI, you were signed up by an independent distributor via the web. At the time of enrollment, you are prompted to agree to the terms and conditions regarding the MXI compensation plan, auto-ship program, and return policy. The auto-ship program is automatic shipment that runs every 4 weeks from the week you are enrollment. The auto-ship runs on Mondays (every 28 days) based on the MXI Bonus Period Calendar. Your first auto-ship ran on December 23rd which was the scheduled run period for your auto-ship cycle. Because the auto-ship runs every 4 weeks it was due to run again the 4th Monday from December 23rd which was January 20th. Please note, this information was provided at the time of enrollment and would appear on your online back office for your convenience. MXI is not held accountable for return shipping if you chosen to return the product. The order that you were requesting to cancel had already shipped. Therefore, the standard return policy (that was agreed to at the time of enrollment) would apply. In reference to the free product you are requesting, this is part of our Auto-ship Loyalty Program. In order to receive these free items you must commit to your second auto-ship order and the free items would then ship with your third auto-ship order. Your second auto-ship order from January 20th has now been returned to our warehouse, per your request therefore, you would no longer qualify for this program as you did not commit to you second auto-ship order. Again, these policies were disclosed and agreed to at the time of enrollment. The system will not allow online enrollment without agreeing to these terms. For additional information you may view these policies at [redacted].Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)It appears to me that MXI hides behind their independent distrubutors and does not support them, but rather leaves them on their own. A Corporation should be more responsible than MXI is being.I was sick with the flu the day I was signed up and remember very little. I just wanted product, not a business. Therefore, we will never agree that I owe the $30 return fee or that I was not due the free product.
