After 15 Years of doing Business and doing over 3,000 jobs and repairs, this is the first time there is a complaint like this. Unfortunately in this case the fault falls on the Roofing Company which is not the real subject to blame. We had a phone call at 10:30 PM about a leak problem, homeowner was...
complaining and wanted to have someone at the house immediately. Therefore we sent a crew at 11:00 pm. There was a leak cause by an electric pipe which was improperly installed after 1 year and a half, making holes in different areas and blocking the snow to exit properly. We had explain this situation to homeowner and asked them to remove that pipe and place it somewhere else so we can perform a repair. Homeowner and family member say that they were going to be in contact, homeowner said they were going to call the electrician and they were going to get back to me. Homeowner had called their insurance and she also said they were going to contact me about it. We waited a week and they never contacted us. Until we called one morning, we were able to contact homeowner and she has refused and was not willing to let us work, she refused to remove the pipe. She didn't let us keep on going with the repair we were going to perform,she was very rude and hang up the phone. Then she put a claim on Revdex.com and told us to contact her insurance.In any matter we have photos to prove this. We are willing to show this prove to insurance company. If there is a judgement against our company we will respond and prove that in this case the roofing company is not the one to blame, in this case is the homeowner for his/her actions.
Review: The bottom line is that this provider preformed a SUB-STANDARD roofing job. This, unfortunately, is now documented by the certified/licensed roofers that have had to give repair estimates. Not to mention the countless estimates we have gotten to have the interior of our home repaired. After less than 2 years, the roof has leaked in numerous areas, causing thousands of dollars of damage, not only with having to have the "new" roof replaced, but horrific damages to the interior of our home. Our entire house is in complete disarray. Due to "Inside waterfalls", carpeting, walls and flooring which was installed after our home was flooded by hurricane Sandy, have to now be again replaced. Our family once again has to live in a state of complete upheaval and be inconvenienced and because of this "qualified" contractor.The saddest part is that "[redacted]" has refused to correct his mistakes and honor the warranty!!Desired Settlement: $10,200.00, which was "Paid in full" to this "Contractor"!!!!!!
