I am rejecting this
response because:
Regards, they want to replace the transmission with a used transmission which would probably put me in the same situation in the near future! the original content of my complaint is they want half up front they dont want to work with me on payments or tacking the payment on at the end! I have a total of people and im in the process of getting more to as a group come together with our issues! no im not content with their policy and given the fact that I couldnt go a month with out a major train issueI put in a chevy impala which that alone covers them in fees for the fixI also have full coverage with them as the lean holder and I have a facebook post that continues with my issues for back up on the subject including a argumentative defense on whats write and wrong with one of their co workersI intend on perusing this with many others tell they change their policy to better benefit their customers who are "treated bad" or simply push for them to be shut downIm not going to sit hear and act as if my businees with them is fair in anyway*** ***

Customer agreed to return vehicle and we agreed to refund her down payment any questions feel free to contact me thank you [redacted]

To Whom it may concern:On 11-11-16, [redacted] did purchase a car from My Car Store. At time of purchase she was informed that vehicle was being sold as-Is with no warranty(see attatched page). Also at time of purhcase she was offered a warranty on vehicle in which she denied coverage(see...

attatched page). On 12-15-16 she notified our office saying the vehilce had broken down on I¬30. The vehicle had been left In an unsafe location and was impounded. My Car Store hired a wrecker service to obtain vehicle and return it to our location. My Car Store assumed all fees in doing this and paid to fix small water leak on vehicle. Two days later Mrs. [redacted] called and said vehicle had broken down and she once again left it on side of interstate. My Car Store again paid a wrecker service to retrieve vehicle and return it to our location. After evaluating vehicle it was determined the car was driven with no oil or oil filter and in turn the engine locked up. After notifying Mrs. [redacted] of the situation she became very agitated and arguementative with all employees taking her call. The following day her husban began calling store being verbally abusive to employees and threating to come to store to do phsylcal harm to them. 1

We sell cars "As Is" however we offered a cooperative resolution. We asked for the customer to simply pay $300 for transmission repairs, and we would cover the rest. We consider our resolution to be fair, given that our vehicles are sold without a warranty.

Customer [redacted] is correct that they received a “pre qualification letter” based on information provided by Experian credit services. Based on this data, one or more of our 20 lenders had pre qualified them for a loan from 6,000 to 29,000. Once the customer provides all the requested data such...

as monthly income, time on job, time on residence, and a full credit check, an official loan offer is provided with required down payment. I do know that [redacted] had came in requesting zero down payment and 100% plus tt&l financing, and thats what we submitted to our lenders on their behalf.Based on the data in the private credit file, and the other stipulations of income, time on employment, etc. We could not get them approved at the requested zero down, we were able to secure a 14,000 loan, but with 20% down, or 2,800. That being said we went to work hard with all of our lenders to get  this down payment lowered for the customers. Rather than have [redacted] wait in the store during the lengthy process of rehashing deals with national auto lenders, we allowed them to drive our car, free of charge of course, and the customer knew it was a pending deal. Once we had exhausted all options, we let the customer know that we just couldn't get the deal done on their requested terms, but were able to honor the pre qualification of a loan from 6,000 to 29,000, but the down payment would be more than their current budget. Once the customer confirmed they could not come up with that down payment, we asked them to return the car. All of those credit decisions are between the customer and the bank, we have little we can do once a final decision is made. We feel that we made every accommodation to get this deal done and the customer sustained no monetary loss. They stated they put fuel in the car that they drove for several days, that was at their discretion based on their driving habits. As for our employees smoking habits, we will surely address those asap as we value our reputation, brand, and cleanliness.[redacted]

[redacted] did purchase the said vehicle from us. She bought the used 2007 Ford truck AS-IS without warranty from us, but was offered an extended warranty from a 3rd party provider, which she declined. [redacted] was around 200 miles from our dealership when she had mechanical issues. She is...

correct when stating that she took it to a shop, she was quoted $2200.00 to complete all the work, and we agreed to pay 75% of the repairs. Once the vehicle was done, we paid the $1500 portion of our bill. She never showed up and paid her 25%. She abandoned the truck at that shop. We were forced to pay her portion to keep the truck from being confiscated by the mechanic. so we paid 100% of the bill. Also we were force to pay $500 to ship the truck from Abiliene Texas where she abandoned it, to Fort Worth Texas where we are located. On top of all of this, [redacted] never paid her first payment to us of $500, or any other payments for that matter. So we repossessed her vehicle for non payment, a first payment default, , on top of paying ALL expenses due to the repair issues and her abandoning the truck. We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and available via email, and have not heard from Laurie since she abandoned that truck nearly 5 weeks ago. We feel that we were not liable for ANY of those expenses since she declined a warranty that is excepted nationwide, yet we have lost nearly $3,000 on this one car deal alone.

To whom it may concern, We are sorry to hear Ms. [redacted] is having a mechanical issue with a vehicle she purchased.  We do not lease any vehicles here.  Ms. [redacted] contacted us a few days after she bought a Yukon.  She told us that the vehicle died on her.  She repeatedly...

refused the help that we offered her.  When it came down to a solution, Ms. [redacted] absolutely did not want to participate in any manner.

Although we sell cars As Is, we have a process in place to offer resolutions satisfactory to the customer and us. [redacted] will be in on 2/15/2018, and we will put her in a different unit.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: All of the information that they provided in their response is a total fabrication of what happened. When I first got there on 08/27/2016 I agreed to purchase the 2005 Jeep Liberty and [redacted] and I came to an agreement that I put $700 down, while he was processing everything he told me to fill out the application and a reference sheet. I filled out the application and as you know I have to have a job to buy a car so  I provided my income verication which where my check stubs which also has my phone number and address on it. I provided the jobs address and phone number and I also provided 6 references. So there is no way they made 7 attempts to contact me when all of this was provided. I just looked over the contract and there is clearly a clinical error because when the lady came in to verify my phone number I told her [redacted] and she said ok. Now, the part where the credit card information was inputted, [redacted] took my card in the back and ran it for the $700 and asked was that the card I was going to use for my payments and I said " YES"   They put the information on the account because I never put my card information on anything. I also was referred to them by someone else who purchased a car from them and they have it on her account and they didn't make any contact with her either.I think this is totally unfair and a resolution wasn't made yesterday when I came  up there. [redacted] only asked if I wanted the vehicle and I told her only if they removed the repossion fee and she went back and forth with me and a tall white guy with a tan and tattoes came in and was extremely rude to me. So at that point I chose to just get my items out of the car. I only had this vehicle for 2 weeks and the proven errors on their end is evident that they need to reimbursment of my $700 at this point. I've nevere experienced such rude behavior at a business in my life.

To Whom It May Concern,Hello, my name is [redacted], I am the General Manager of My Car Store.I wanted to give you an update on  complaint #[redacted] that was filed on 08/30/2017. I have reached out to [redacted] and stated to her we have done our investigation on this...

matter and the assumed person that used her identity with out her permission is her boyfriend that has been residing with her for a few years now. The customers came in to apply for an auto loan on February 7, 2017 and has just reached out to us,  about her concerns.  They have had joint credit in the past and have owned two vehicles together. She has stated she did not come into the dealership and did not apply for auto credit and that she never authorized us to pull her credit. I do have a signed application from them showing and acknowledging that we did have permission to pull there credit. We did submit them to third party financing but, unfortunately they were declined and we could not proceed with the loan. Mr.[redacted] is the accused person and is incarcerated at this time as we found out from [redacted] to get more information about this complaint and he not able to speak on his behalf. I'm deeply sorry that Ms. [redacted] has experienced this difficult situation. As far as our business practice we have done everything in procedure as the Texas law allows to. My recommendation is that she call the credit bureau's and give them the police report and they should be able to assist her from there. If you have any questions or concern, please feel free to contact me. I have provided my contact information below. Sincerely, [redacted]Voice: [redacted] |  Fax: [redacted] | www.mycarstore.com

I am rejecting this response because: Revdex.com:This is unsatisfactory, the car store is neglecting the fact that the oil filter was not taken off by me or my husband, however they called and asked "have you guys taken an oil filter off the vehicle and have you had the car serviced elsewhere" they are also neglecting the fact that before the car broke down the second time on i-30, they held the car in their possession for 5 days before we had the vehicle back on monday 12/19/16, the next day 12/20/16 at 5:30p the car died and wasn't able to start up again. They did not offer us any type of warranty on the vehicle, I don't have any of this information. The receptionists at my car store were very rude to my husband and I, they would never let us talk to the owner. They neglected to give us a corporate number to complain about the service we received. When we would call we would only be able to talk to "TJ" who was rude and out right accused us of not putting oil in the car, but for the last 5 days they had the car in their possession. I don't understand how we are at fault for an engine lock up when the car was in their possession right before the engine locked up. Tj even admitted that while the car was in their possession they failed to check the oil and oil filter. Which is why when we got the car back the engine locked up the next day. The car store is very unprofessional and they are trying to try the blame game for their unbelievable bad service to their customers. They treated us like we have not made a 500.00 down payment and a 183.00 car payment. This is so unprofessional and future customers need to be aware of the bad service they have provided. They didn't care that I was unable to go to work due to the faulty car that they sold us that broke down after one month. An engine problem doesn't happen in one month, it unfortunately already had a ticking time bomb on it before we drove it home.Regards, [redacted]
