Even though I card within 24 hours of arrival and notified the company that the vacation rental was not what I expected or thought I paid for I was basic told that this was too bad. Customers need more information on "Grandmas house" in as much as this is a 1934 dump

DO NOT BOOK WITH CHELAN VACATION PROPERTIES (or with My Chelan Vacation; same company, different name)!!

To give even one star is too much for this company. I planned a trip for 8 of my friends in Chelan for August and every experience with this company was a pain. If we weren't in a time crunch to find a place for our friends with children, I would have just opted to camp in the woods.

First off, many of their condos are privately owned so you're better off attempting to reach the owner than to go through this company. They clearly raise the prices for renting and don't share any information about your stay until AFTER they've charged your bank account. I asked for 3 days/2 nights, which the lady I spoke with confirmed, and after I was charged, they send me a check in time of 5pm the first day and check out time of 10am the last day...that is clearly NOT 3 days. This should have been specified when I REQUESTED 3 days. In addition to these ridiculous times, they threaten many times of charging a fee for early check in. I asked to adjust the times but they claimed this is protocol and required for cleaning (really?? 7 hours?!)...we asked our neighbors about their rental and even they agreed our times were unreasonable...they had check in as early as 10am and check out at 6pm.

Once in the condo, the web listing clearly states internet access for the condo but there was no secure wifi or internet available. I called and emailed Chelan Vacation Properties and they told us to call the front desk or check the 3 ring binder (we did, and it said NOTHING about wifi). We called front desk and we were told to contact the rental company. A total run around. In the end, no internet all weekend. We specifically picked a condo with internet access because many of us had to work while on vacation in order to have "3 days" at Chelan.

We attempted to make the most of it, and as a courtesy we cleaned up after ourselves (even though we were already being charged $175 for cleaning). We gathered ALL our garbage and placed it outside the condo as instructed and made sure we had left everything intact. In doing so we were out of the condo and packing our cars by 10am. I didn't physically see the cleaning lady but after we had left the condo I receive a call from Chelan Vacation Properties to inform me they will be charging me $25 dollar for having TOO MUCH garbage to throw away and another $25 for a late check out!!!

...we were there for 2 nights (and technically 1.5 days) and our sorted garbage with recyclable glass in one set and recyclable cardboard in another, was considered 5 garbage bins! How can anyone create 5 garbage bins in 2 nights when we didn't even eat all 3 meals a day?!?!?! we ended up taking the majority of our food home too BECAUSE our stay was shorter than expected.

also, their claim of "late checkout" was not done via the front desk or the actual property management but via their cleaning lady. Who is this cleaning lady and what right does she have to claim we checked out late???

1) there's no physical check out person we were told to inform

2) she never came up to me or my husband, the renters, and vocalized her presence or concern for late check out

3) our contract never stated there would be a fee for late check out so what right do you have to charge us for being outside of the condo at 10am (technically the cleaning lady was physically able to go in and start cleaning at 10am if she really wanted to but instead she opted to leave and report we're checking out late)

This company has horrible customer service and will nickel and dime you for every penny even after you've left their place.
