Never trust My Dream Shares .com , I got trapped to pay $5000 and $99 a year for renewal. Mr. Walter Lopez in Las Vegas I trapped me. I have got this for 3 years now. I never got even one discount from them, from rci.com. It always costs higher than I paid for my vacation recently at google search. Recently I tried to book cruise with google search, I got bonus offer like free wifi, drink and credits on cruise, but the guy from rci.com booked me the same price with google search like bookit.com and I lost all my bonus offer I was supposed to get. This is terrible member with rci.com and mydreamshares.com. Do not trust in this discount travel program of mydreamshares.com and rci.com, good bye and I NOT recommended this companies, I lost all...in rci.com and mydreamshares.com

My wife and I attended a My Dream Shares sales presentation in August of 2016. We were told 4 things that did not turn out to be what the sales staff said they would be.
1. They told us that the "Premium Week Pricing" of $399, $499, $599 + $200 exchange fee for a studio, 1 bedroom, or 2 bedroom RCI unit - would allow us to reserve any available RCI unit at any season or holiday. Once we tried to reserve a a 1 bedroom at the available resort of our choice, the total cost was close to $1600, not the advertised $499 + $200.
2. During the sales presentation, I wanted a membership price reduction. They offered to pay any Mandatory All Inclusive Fee this is in addition to their promise to pay my first stay resort fee of up to $1,000. Our final booking cost $1,800. They only covered the "All Inclusive Fee of $800".
3. They also offered to provide us a 3, 4, 5, 0r 7 day cruise and all we would have to pay is government taxes and cruise line port fees. When we got the voucher, it was for an Off Season cruise in a lower inside berth and we were asked to pay an additional $400+ in admin fees. The "free cruise" after all their charges for "peak season travel in an upgraded berth turned out to be little more than a 10% discount on what we could book online - WITHOUT ANY HASSLE OR HOOPS.
4. They also stated that they had a hotel reservation system that could save us alot on hotel stays over anything we could find through easy click or Trivago or kayak. During the sales period, they were quoting real discounts of 40 to 50%. When I actually tried to book hotels, only 1 attempt in many resulted is a savings. 85% of all hotels I priced through them were the same or more expensive than what I could get online myself.
BEing a member of RCI can save you money on vacations under certain circumstances BUT what we were told and what was actually delivered were two very dissimilar things!","neg-1

Company mis-represented themselves as [redacted], when they are My Dream Shares, Inc. and only afiliated with [redacted].On January 17th 2016 my wife and I attended a presentation and was told the company was [redacted] International. We went thought the presentation and decided to participate in the program. We gave authorization for payment and was supposed tobe notified by member services to complete the membership. When we did not here from member services and no payment was taken, we call [redacted] only to find that the company is My Dream Shares, Inc. and although they have any affiliation with [redacted], they are not [redacted]. We believe they mis-represented by telling us they were RIC Direct. Desired SettlementSince no money was ever taken from our account, we would request the they cancel the membershipwe requested and contract we signed.Final Consumer Response

I purchased a concierge service which we were told this is the cheapest way to travel. I questioned the service and was told you cannot get a cheaper flight or condo any where but through this service. We paid $4,495.00 on March 1, 2014. On March 3, 2014 my check was cashed. I was told within 14 day I would have access to the system and could start traveling. I asked if this was timeshare and was assured this is not. We were told this is My Dream Shares which is a concierge service to provide the cheapest way to travel. After we received the package it seems as if this is [redacted] a timeshare organization. I called and was told I should go through [redacted] if I want to stay in a condo. During the presentation we were told at trip to Las Vegas would be very cheap as they own several resorts in Vegas. Today I was told $658.00 for a week in Vegas which does not include a flight. This is not what we purchase. We did not want any part of timeshare. Now we are requesting our $4,495.00 be refunded as I feel we have been take advantage of. My spouse if- -retired and I feel as if we were scammed. I have called several times the 844-438-8728 and no one could help me. It took 23 days to find out I am not registered. Please help me as they have taken advantage of us. My husband and I were invited to attend a meeting at My Dream Shares in Las Vegas, Nevada in October 2015. We were treated very well and the company made reservations at the [redacted] and[redacted] for us to stay while we were there. The hotel room we had was very nice.
We were given tickets to a few shows and also tickets for a free dinner for all of us (our children were there with us) at [redacted] Restaurant. What a great time we had there and the food was terrific. Not many restaurants are like that any longer, where you laugh, sing and listen to a group play music while you eat. That was nice.
The salesmen provided no pressure to have us buy a vacation package. It was a very pleasant experience and one I was a bit apprehensive about at first. The timeshares of today, at least with My Dream Shares, Inc., are nothing like the timeshares of old. We were so pleasantly surprised.
I would recommend this company to everyone who likes to travel as My Dreamshares has made this a wonderful value, something to look forward to each year, and perfectly easy.
The people there were so sweet and helpful in explaining how their system works. No ever increasing maintenance fees was the most wonderful thing we found out. All we pay is a small fee to RCI annually.
If you are hesitant, or have been burned in the past, please do not worry. These people are very caring and have a wonderful product to make your life fun. You will not be pressured and will have a wonderful time in the process.","pos-3

I attended a presentation with My Dream Shares in Las Vegas in Oct 2015. Expecting a typical timeshare presentation, I was pleasantly surprised. The representative took her time, explained everything, and tailored a program I couldn't say "no" to. I used to own a timeshare, and with My Dream Shares, I now have access to everything I used to love about my timeshare,(and RCI) without all the things I hated. I am a flight attendant, which allows me very inexpensive air fare, and have utilized the member benefits a multitude of times. I can take a nice vacation, staying in beautiful, fully furnished villas, for less than most people pay for one or two nights in a hotel. I would highly recommend the My Dream Shares program. ","pos-1
