Review: I purchased an ACE-HI water iron from My Dry Cleaning Supply in December 2013. After less than a year, the device became defective. In the midst of ironing, it will automatically turn off. I have to allow it to cool for over a hour before being able to use it again. For commercial use, this is unacceptable.When I spoke to [redacted], (10/**/2014; 10:00 AM) she immediately passed the responsibility onto another company since the warranty from My Dry Cleaning Supply is only valid for THREE months. She then lied and stated that we were informed at the time of the purchase (this information is not indicated anywhere on their receipt, brochure or website either.) When I requested a copy of the invoice, [redacted] stated that I would not need it and immediately became defensive. She stated, "I don't know why you would need it. They are not going to ask for it." I explained that since she refused to assist or replace the defective iron, I would need all of the relevant information to "take it up" with the manufacturer myself. At 02:25 PM (10/**/2014), I was emailed the invoice with information on who to contact. When I spoke to [redacted] (10/**/2014; 04:09 PM), [redacted] stated that I should have discussed this with My Cleaning Supply, as they are responsible for filing a claim. Furthermore, he was only an importer, not the manufacturer.It isn't the lack of communication that bothers me. Honestly, it's the principle. There was no accountability, customer service or patience to resolve the issue of an item purchased at this vendor.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the ACE-Hi water iron (AH100G) replaced with the cost of delivery completely covered by My Dry Cleaning Supply or the manufacturer. Additionally, the company should provide a CLEAR description of their warranty and accurate information on who to contact for defective products. Thank you in advance.
