Company claims that I returned a pair of pre-owned shoes to them and will not refund total amount that I paid for shoes.I purchased a pair of shoes on 10/4/14. When I received the shoes, I attempted to try on the shoes but the shoes were too small and couldn't get my foot into the shoes. I contacted seller and they advised me to return the shoes and gave me instructions to print out a return label. The also told me that I was responsible for the cost of the return shipment. I did that. On 10/19/14, I received an email from the seller stating that they didn't usually extend a refund on pre-owned shoes, however, they would refund to me the amount of $17.00. I paid $35.00 for these shoes.I immediately contacted the seller in response to their allegation denying that I had returned a pair of pre-owned shoes to them. Then they proceeded to submit alleged photographs of these pre-owned shoes. I told them once again that I had returned the shoes that I had received from them in the same condition when I opened the box, new shoes, not worn, scuffed or frayed as the pictures now indicated. The seller stuck by their contention that I had returned used shoes to them. I contacted [redacted] customer service since I had ordered these shoes thru their third party seller, My Favorite Gear. They did a so called investigation and claimed that since I got the product that I ordered, more or less, there wasn't much that they could do about it. I also received another $11.00 credit. I don't know if it was from the seller or [redacted]. Once again I requested the refund of the remaining balance of $7.00. The seller advised me that since I had made a complaint against them to [redacted], it was no longer in their hands and it was up to [redacted] to settle this dispute with me. Desired SettlementI want the remaining balance of $7.00 refunded back to me as well as an explanation why this occurred. And I want a written apology from the company's president.
