Ms*** placed her order on our website and selected a ship date of 12/16, a Friday with *** 2nd Day Service She selected 2nd day delivery so the expected delivery date would have been business days later, or 12/however, Ms*** ordered pre-sliced cakes (as opposed to whole
cakes) which require an extra day and because we bake everything to order, this delays the ship date by one business day Ms*** was informed of this by the website at time of order, and by confirmation email immediately after placing the order It is possible that Ms*** did not see this when she placed the order and may have also overlooked it when she received her Order Confirmation but we do everything we can to inform the customer accurately of the anticipated ship date This is an image of what she could have seen on the website:Because she ordered a pre-sliced cake her order was actually expected to ship on 12/(one business day later than 12/16) and it did ship on that date At the time of this writing her order is scheduled for delivery on 12/21, again one business day later than would have been expected had she ordered whole cakes but exactly on time based on the ship date This one day delay is also mentioned in her email Order Confirmation Here is an image of the pertinent section of that confirmation:Ms*** was told that Ground service delivery time to Florida is normally 3-business days but she was not told that about 2nd Day service for which she paid About 2nd Day service she was told delivery time is business days She was also warned that during the week before Christmas none of the carriers (***, ***, ** ***) guarantee on time delivery but because she chose 2nd day we'd expect it will be delivered before Christmas and tracking proves that to be the case.We sincerely apologize if Ms*** was disappointed in any way and invite her to speak with our president *** *** for additional explanation any time she wishes His # is *** *** *** *** We thank Ms*** and all of our wonderful customers for their continued patronage and we wish everyone the happiest of Holidays!!
