Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explain the situation that you received a complaint about here at My Gym Princeton Alexander was enrolled with us for over a year and a halfWhen they needed to cancel their membership we told them we require one final payment (essentially one month's notice)The family was charged on August 12th for their final payment and were allowed to come to class until their end date of September 2nd This allowed the family to participate in the last four classes they paid for We have attached the signed agreement which states this policy This policy was clearly explained when the family enrolled and is initialed and signed The family states that they have classes that they did not attend over the past year and a half We told the family on multiple occasions that if they ever miss a class for any reason they can call, email, or schedule a make up class online The family never did We even allowed them the option to take these classes after their end date of 9/2/ They have not taken advantage of that optionThe family states there were occasions when their class was cancelled and they were not aware We have record of two instances when [redacted] was the only child to come to that class time and it is company policy we need two children to run a class to children were enrolled in the class on each of these occasions No families called to say they would not be attending class that night As far as we knew class would be conducted and this is why the family was given no notice We offered the family make ups for these two classes as well Please let me know if you need any additional information We do not want this incident to reflect poorly on our business as we have handled the issue with the utmost concern and customer service

The family was charged on August 12th for their final payment and were allowed to come to class until their end date of September 2nd.  This allowed the family to participate in the last four classes they paid for.  We have attached the signed agreement which states this policy.  This policy was clearly explained when the family enrolled and is initialed and signed.  The family states that they have 8 classes that they did not attend over the past year and a half.  We told the family on multiple occasions that if they ever miss a class for any reason they can call, email, or schedule a make up class online.  The family never did.  We even allowed them the option to take these 8 classes after their end date of 9/2/15.  They have not taken advantage of that option. The family states there were 3 occasions when their class was cancelled and they were not aware.  We have record of two instances when [redacted] was the only child to come to that class time and it is company policy we need two children to run a class.  5 to 7 children were enrolled in the class on each of these occasions.  No families called to say they would not be attending class that night.  As far as we knew class would be conducted and this is why the family was given no notice.  We offered the family make ups for these two classes as well.     Please let me know if you need any additional information.  We do not want this incident to reflect poorly on our business as we have handled the issue with the utmost concern and customer service.

It is unacceptable for this business to cancel classes with no notice when only one child shows up.  We were not told about this policy when we signed the initial contract.
