Great company to work with! This is my 3rd time using their services for my home projects and we will definitely be using them fin the future. Contractor Julio has always provided us with affordable solutions to what would have been extremely expensive project and has always been respectful of our budget and time constraints. He has always honored his price and lets us know well in advance if there are any concerns that come up during the project and provides us with guidance on the best ways to proceed with respect to our wishes. Work has always started immediately and delivers quality results. The team always takes the time to clean up after themselves and ensure that we are satisfied with the work.
I found contractor on *** - set appointment to review work needed, I live in community that requires written bids, copies of insurance and license. I am clear with all contractors about this requirement. After wasting 2 weeks of my time with texts from him about starting the job and never receiving written bid and documentation as promised I had to go through the process again to find another contractor. Very Unprofessional - I would never hire someone who will not put bid in writing. I also discovered that *** will not publish unsatisfactory reviews unless the contractor is hired. So no telling how many others have had the same experience.
Hello. Thank you for the opportunity to contest and eliminate false and hurtful review towards my excellent reputation company.
*I want to start by saying that I never advertise me or my company as a contractor.that consumer argument is false.
*I went to the appointment as agreed, I saw the job and I told the consumer, let me explain you how I work, I have many jobs to see and estimates to make and projects to supervise in a single day, if I have to invest my time to create a full proposal for a customer, I need to make sure the customer can afford my services and also that they are willing to move forward, I did send numerous text messages and left voice messages explaining the procedure and price for the job and that we were available and needed a response to prepare the contract, this gentleman never answer any of this and ignored me for several weeks, I assume that he was looking for a better price that he probably never found, when he finally responded to me he kept asking me for a formal contract, and I kept asking him if he wants to proceed with the job with out any response.
The bottom line here is this, why does he complaint about his hoa wanting to get an official bid, when the responsible party to pay for the job is the home owner not the hoa, and if he is not giving me a response about weather he wants to start the job or not, why d ok I have to feel forced to write a contract for him.???
I need this re entry hurtful review removed as soon as possible please as it is causing me losses in my bussines l, thank you
I do not agree with the statements made by the my handyangel representative. At no time did they try to contact me by phone or leave any messages other than constant texting. The did not explain how they work. They did not question my ability to pay for the work. I have lived in my community for 12+ years and have contracted for home improvement work a number of times. Quotes in writing along with copies of licenses and insurance is a requirement for any type of work performed in my community. Under penalty of fines, I cannot start work without the written bid, and copies of required documents submitted and approved by my HOA. I informed the company's rep of this when they visited my home to review the work needed. I have to inform every person I intend to use of this requirement. When they were informed of this requirement I was assured that I would have the written bid and required documentation within 48 hours. Instead I was bombarded with text messages asking when they could start the work. After numerous message back to them that I cannot OK the job with the required bid and information approved by my HOA, I finally gave up on them following through and started the search for someone else to contract the job to. For several months after, I continued to receive texts from them asking for the job. I tried blocking their number - they texted from a new number. I have received nasty text messages trying to get me to remove my review of my experience with this company, and they even offered to pay me to remove the reviews. I have copies of all messages from them. I used the term contractor in the general sense. I was looking for home improvement work - I was not implying that they presented themselves as a licensed contractor. I was complaining about their lack of professional follow through and harassing messages.
I am surprise of discovering the type of person you are, by saying that I send you nasty text message, when this whole time I have only offered you to help and you never responded to my text, that's why I never send you a written proposal, at this point I am extremely disappointed at how you are treating this case and how Revdex.com is also treating this situation, I will continue my successful career full of good reviews and happy customers and I will now leave you behind as well as Revdex.com, not without forgetting to also post a detailed review since you are also a bussines owner in *** and in good for Revdex.com. I have the right to defend myself and to expose the type of person and entity that both of this parts are. So other service providers like me, dont fall victim of your abusive behavior, and this goes for both of you, mr lee w*** and Revdex.com
