Stayed at this hotel Dec 1-paid cash at the end of the stay and as of today Dec 11, the money has not been released from my debit cardSpoke with Jada F*, Monday Dec 4, she advised us to contact the bank and have them call her and she would give them an authorization code to have it reversedI in turn called my bank and said they dont do that, the hotel would have to take the hold off of the cardCalled again Dec and spoke with Aliyah F* and she advised us that the hold should have been taken off upon our check out, and that she would do it the correct way, and we should have it in daysAs of today, Dec ,charges have not been reversedCalled the corporate office today Dec and spoke with Lawrence (employee id# ***) he took my statement and advised me that someone would get back to me within days!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! This is my debit card, which has inconvenienced me immensely because this is cash out of my personal bank account!!!!
My family and I arrived at the Ramada Plaza in Newark on October 3, after scheduling the stay through Park, Sleep, Fly When we arrived there was a paper we were told to read that said there was legionella bacteria in the hotel and patrons should not shower or use water in a way that spray might occur We were staying in two rooms for the night before flying out of Newark International in the morning for a day of travel We had not received notification of this situation, though the hotel said that Sleep, Park, Fly should have informed us When we complained about this, they said there was nothing they could do We stayed and did not shower or use the water in any way, using bottled water to brush our teeth Therefore we arrived at our destination with hours of travel behind us and no shower or comfort in the hotel, which was why we had planned our trip with the hotel before the flight When we contacted Park, Sleep Fly, they immediately refunded our deposit with them
