My family and I arrived at the Ramada Plaza in Newark on October 3, after scheduling the stay through Park, Sleep, Fly When we arrived there was a paper we were told to read that said there was legionella bacteria in the hotel and patrons should not shower or use water in a way that spray might occur We were staying in two rooms for the night before flying out of Newark International in the morning for a day of travel We had not received notification of this situation, though the hotel said that Sleep, Park, Fly should have informed us When we complained about this, they said there was nothing they could do We stayed and did not shower or use the water in any way, using bottled water to brush our teeth Therefore we arrived at our destination with hours of travel behind us and no shower or comfort in the hotel, which was why we had planned our trip with the hotel before the flight When we contacted Park, Sleep Fly, they immediately refunded our deposit with them
