My family and I reached out to a breeder via the AKC website. We purchased a home and thought that by reaching out to the AKC we will receive pure breed Great Danes dogs and have a great experience at that. However, I was totally wrong! I received a few texts from a breeder of pictures of beautiful puppies we instantly fell in love. She contacted us via cell phone and said she was from Florida but had a B&B in PA for the dogs. We scheduled a three hour drive to her home in September and selected two puppies. From there I had constant contact with this lady and it went from strange to bad to worse. She told me her two males mothers attached her and almost killed her yesterday. She said she went to the hospital and received 173 stitches. She is acting as if she doesn't want to deliver the puppies and is requesting a lot of strange things, like pictures of us moving. That is so weird, she then told me she will charge me more money, at this point I think she wants to keep our hard earned money $1000 dollars to be exact and not deliver the puppies. Please be very careful and make sure not to get friendly with her. she will tell you personal things that have nothing to do with anything and will yell at you and call you names on the phone. Does not let you get a word in and then when you try to have a conversation she hangs up. I told her if we don't receive the puppies or the money I will take her to small claims court.
