To Whom It May Concern:We were not aware of this until after the fact , we had found out and provided all the information to insurance As far as our warranty with sears home improvement it was a year labor warranty.The windows were installed correctly according to sear home improvement
At the time of the install home owners were always told to maintain exterior of home The weather in this region is harsh that is why they are told every year do the maintenance on exterior of homeIn our experience home owners do very little maintenance on exterior of homes If maintenance is not done there could become problems, that is a statement on about everything Sears had a year warranty provide and there were no complaints during that time In our professional opinion the windows were installed correctly and maintenance was not done after the fact. Note: Star Construction is a family owned company and we do care!
