My Kids' Dentist Reviews (2)

We are so glad that the [redacted] have chosen to involve the Revdex.com in this dispute. If Revdex.com would please inform the [redacted], that My Kids’ Dentist the office of Dr. [redacted] in Arizona has no previous complaints registered with the Revdex.com. I believe there is a case of mistaken...

identity because there are several other offices with the name “My Kids Dentist” in California that have similar complaints documenting the [redacted] concerns. We attempted to resolve this matter several times with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] in a professional manner and were met with hang-ups, not returned messages, and then two different episodes of being yelled at belligerently. So we were left with no option than to proceed with collections when their balance was un-paid for the dental treatment of their than 2 year old son’s 10 cavities. What we were trying to communicate to the [redacted] is that the original plan for their son’s dental treatment that they signed was for a total of $2038. We sent a pre-determination to their insurance company to estimate their out of pocket portion as a courtesy, which was a total of $1438. The response to the pre-determination from the insurance was sent to both the [redacted] and our office showing this amount. There were some changes to our estimated treatment, the possibility of which was discussed and approved (by signature) with the patients mother. The changes that were needed, were in fact in the patients benefit not only for their oral health but also financially. The completed work totaled $2024 and their out of pocket was less as well to totaling $1387. Because of the large amount as a courtesy we made no interest, no fee financial arrangements of which Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] paid $1164 with an outstanding balance remaining of $223.60. There is an additional $103.40 that remains from the patients first 2 visits that was not covered by their insurance and was also unpaid for a total outstanding balance of $327. We included statements from each day of service that Dr [redacted] cared for their child including a follow up visit after his surgery we did not bill them for though as a courtesy so that we could see their child again at their 6 month recare visit and not have to pay out of pocket for their exam. It is our hope that this information is presented in a way that is clear and that no misunderstanding remains and the [redacted] can keep their obligation and take themselves out of collections. Sincerely, [redacted], D.D.S.
