I have been promised a settlement offer due to damages accrued during my relocation from [redacted] to [redacted] that I have not yet received.I have been in contact with this company for over a year now as I moved from [redacted] to [redacted] for my career. They currently owe me $2172 in order to settle damages and losses, although at this point I feel as though I should receive more.Problems first began with the actual packing process, but I was unaware of it at the time. I was told that I could not pack any of my own belongings, even in the original packaging, due to the insurance policy. Unfortunately, this left packing everything by the 3 movers in [redacted], and with this, several of my things were mishandled, including being tossed into boxes randomly with no protection at all, directly resulting in the damage of many items. In [redacted], all of the boxes were loaded into a truck that was then sealed, and I was given the seal number and told that the goods would be transported as they were packed and would not be tampered with; the seal was my reassurance. Yet, when the truck arrived in [redacted] the seal had been broken, and all of the items had been reorganized, and the new seal was different from the original (even in a different location on the truck), proving that someone had, in fact, been tampering with my boxes, and all without permission from me.When the moving team arrived in [redacted] to unload the truck, they had no record of the inventory and simply unloaded what was there. They had no paperwork ready for me to sign, and the only promise I had that my belongings had arrived correctly was the word of those at My Move Options. Upon review of my copy of the inventory from [redacted], I discovered that four boxes had not arrived at all, and even to this day there has been no resolution of this problem. Moreover, there were several items damaged and boxes crushed, resulting in damages. I have photographic evidence to support this. Through all of my attempts to relocate the missing boxes and being reimbursed for damages, I have met nothing but adversity and apathy on the part of the employees of My Move Options. My concern is not just for my belongings, but specifically one box that included several pages of personal files with my information such as name, phone number, and social security number. To this day, they have still not been recovered, and no one has offered any further support in finding them.There have been many other issues encountered in this ordeal to reflect the unprofessional manner of all involved, and I would be happy to provide examples, including the movers here asking us to order them a pizza; space here does not allow more.I have been in touch with workers from My Move Options ever since I discovered the damages, and in particular, [redacted] has been my main contact. This is because her manager, [redacted] as I've been told, has deliberately been ignoring my calls throughout this entire process, and other employees stopped returning my emails. I have multiple emails between several of the employees that can prove how often I have been in contact with this company, asking that the problem be resolved and reimbursement provided. [redacted] has been incredibly poor at staying in contact with me, but ultimately, I did get confirmation by email that a reimbursement settlement had been reached in the amount of $2172. This was now 3 months ago, and I still have not received any money. This came only after I personally reached out to a company here in [redacted] and the owner personally came and assessed the damages and sent his assessment to My Move Options.Additionally, in February, I discovered that My Move Options had also not even paid the third party movers they hired in [redacted], and I have a contact there to support this as well. So, this company has now taken nearly $9000 for their relocation services, yet they have not paid those who they hired to perform the actual work, nor have they reimbursed me for the damages.If any further details are needed, I am happy to provide any evidence mentioned above.Desired SettlementAs far as I'm concerned, this company should be shut down entirely and all employees held accountable. If I lived in a state near them and it wasn't such a hassle, I'd sue them legally. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional everyone with this company has been. It is only my diligence in this matter that has gotten me this far. I'm sure that if I was not persistent in my efforts, they would be happy blowing me off and keeping all the money. At this point, I honestly feel as though I should receive nearly a full refund, although I would be content receiving the agreed upon sum.

My Move Options damaged $2,436 in furniture during my January move. A claim was approved to refund that amount on 4/4/14 but company has failed to payMy Move Options damaged $2,436 in furniture during my January 9th move from [redacted] to [redacted] on January 17th. On 4/4/14, [redacted] at My Move Options approved a claim to refund $2436 but has failed to pay within the expected 30 day period. The office has terrible customer service and refuses to explain the delay or expedite payment regardless of my escalation. My original scheduled move date of 1/15 was not honored. [redacted] and [redacted] made the decision to direct the moving truck to NC, unpack my moving truck and keep my belongings in warehouse in NC without my authorization. The original order was to pack storage containers and ship those. When a moving truck arrived, I was under the impression they would be driving it direct to [redacted] The repacking of my furniture onto a second truck in NC is the reason my furniture was damaged. I incurred two additional hotel night costs as a result of the delivery delay (not weather as they suggest) and I am not asking for that to be refunded at this time. I only want the $2436 paid as soon as possible.Desired Settlement$2436 via certified check and mailed [redacted] or [redacted] with tracking verification.
