I am compelled to share my recent nightmarish experience with MyOrganicSleep, an online bedding retailer that has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. As a customer who previously sang praises for their products, I never expected to encounter such a distressing ordeal.
I recently purchased their supposedly top product, the Santa Cruz All Natural Australian Wool Comforter, from MyOrganicSleep, hoping to replicate the positive experience I had a few years ago. To my dismay, the product I received was a far cry from the quality I had come to associate with this company. The fabric felt cheap, and the overall craftsmanship was abysmal, leaving me questioning the integrity of their manufacturing process.
What makes this experience even more infuriating is the fact that the Santa Cruz All Natural Australian Wool Comforter came with a hefty price tag, costing me close to $400. To spend such a substantial amount on what turned out to be a substandard product is not only disheartening but also feels like a betrayal of trust.
Naturally, I reached out to their customer service department in hopes of finding a resolution to my predicament. However, the customer service I received was nothing short of appalling. While they acknowledged the quality issue, their proposed solution was to have me return the product at my expense. Yes, you read that right – I'm expected to foot the bill for returning a product that cost me close to $400 and was clearly substandard.
This lack of accountability and unwillingness to stand behind their supposedly top-of-the-line product is a severe disappointment. It's disheartening to see a company that once prided itself on quality now resorting to such unscrupulous practices. As a consumer, I feel cheated and taken advantage of.
To those considering a purchase from MyOrganicSleep, I implore you to think twice. The company's quality control has evidently plummeted, and their customer service is nothing short of dismissive. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for bedding options.
I, for one, will be actively cautioning friends, family, and anyone who will listen about the abysmal experience I've had with MyOrganicSleep. It's disheartening to witness a once-reputable company fall from grace in such a spectacular fashion.
Consider this a warning to anyone contemplating a purchase from MyOrganicSleep: proceed with extreme caution.

The person who responded to this complaint is being evasive by not addressing the main point of my complaint: why wasn't I informed of the name of the shipper BEFORE the order was completed?
As I mentioned before, the name of the shipper was NOT noted on the company's website until very recently (after I complained), nor was it mentioned during the order process. If I had known this company used UPS, I would not have completed the order.
Again, as previously stated, I was not informed of the name of the carrier until after the order was submitted online, and a day or so later I received a confirmation email stating the item was being shipped via UPS. After I complained to the seller about the outrageous fee UPS was charging me for the priviledge of having my package delivered ($20+ on an item valued $28...this in addition to the $17 shipping fee I already paid), they THEN updated their website with shipping details that should have been there when I ordered. This, in essence, is my complaint. Other shippers such as USPS do not charge these ridiculous "brokerage fees" to international customers, and "My Organic Sleep" was negligent in not informing its customers of this fact before and during the order process.
It is my contention they have demonstrated very poor business practices.

Review: I ordered a pillow from this company online. At the time of ordering, there was NO mention on the website of the fact they use UPS as their shipping carrier. I did get a shipping confirmation email from them later informing me of that fact, but by then it was too late. UPS is notorious for bilking international customers with ridiculous "brokerage fees" upon delivery. In my case it was an extra CAD$20.58. I had assumed the seller would use USPS, which does not add these fees. My complaint is that the seller should have had this information clearly written on the website, and this should have been noted clearly on the order form as well. It was not. The seller has since updated their website, due to my complaint, but that doesn't help me know, and I feel I was mislead. The seller was NOT helpful when I sent them an email about this and has shown very poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like the CAD$20.58 reimbursed to my Paypal account.
