We appreciate Ms [redacted] writing to express her concernsIt is our goal to provide high quality service to every customer, and we regret that she was dissatisfied On June My Super Handyman contracted with Ms [redacted] to demolish a partial wall and ceiling, frame the ceiling, install six sheets of drywall, install a dryer vent and install a water line, a drain for a toilet, and water lines for a sinkWe agreed on a cost of $1,for labor, plus the cost of materials We arrived at the customer’s home each day at approximately 10am and left at 6pm, except for Friday, June On Friday the customer told me that we had to leave by 5pmOnce she told me that, I scheduled another appointment, which required that I leave her home at 5pmAfter I scheduled the appointment, Ms [redacted] changed her mind and said we could stay and workBut I had already committed my time and could not stay When the workers were installing the drywall, the ceiling light was accidentally brokenI apologized for breaking the light fixture and offered the customer $for the fixture, which she agreed to and accepted When we completed the work at her house we put our debris in the utility bags that Ms [redacted] providedEvery day before we left, we made sure to clean after ourselves inside her homeWhen walked out of her house, the drywall dust/debris from our shoes may have gotten on her sidewalk outsideWe apologize for not washing down the sidewalk outside of her home One of my workers rinsed out the drywall bucket in her utility sinkI reprimanded my worker for this errorI checked the sink to make sure that there was no residue in the sink and that the sink was not stopped upI ran water in the sink and found it to be draining properly Regarding the reference to the plumbing work, the plumber whom I sub-contacted with did not complete the work, and I was unable secure another plumber in a timely manner I have discontinued using that plumber’s services for my companyI apologized to the customer, and since she had paid me in full, I refunded $for the cost associated with the plumbing work The customer indicated that my workers buried wires behind drywall, creating a potential hazardThat did not occurWhen I arrived at the job, there was an outlet hanging off the wall that I was preparing to hang drywallI screwed the outlet onto one of the studsThe customer told me that she did not want the outlet at that locationI asked her where she wanted me to put it, and was told that she was going to have her electrician come out and do itHe also needed to fix the electricity in the room, which caused my power tool to keep blowing a fuse, as well as perform electrical work in her garage When her electrician arrived, he told me where he was going to place the outlet, and he showed me where to cut the opening in the drywall for the outlet, which I didAt no time did I, or my workers, install drywall over electrical wiring We completed the demolition work, hung the six sheets of drywall and installed the dryer ventWith the $that was refunded for the plumbing work and the $we provided for the light fixture, I hope that this matter can be resolved Sincerely, [redacted] My Super Handyman Owner

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mr [redacted] chose to defend the words of actions that can be substantiated by witnesses such as the electrician, and I have pictures Mr [redacted] did respond to the complaint by bringing $in cash This does not compensate for the fact that I have paid for materials that had to be purchased again for work to be corrected No Mr [redacted] did not clean up and it took me some time to bring my house to a liveable space I will also send pictures of the so-called completed work that Mr [redacted] didIt is the worst dry wall job I have ever seen I must live with itI have no choice He cannot excuse poor workmanshipI consider this restitution with prejudice Sincerely, [redacted] ***- [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. [redacted] chose to defend the words of actions that can be substantiated by witnesses such as the electrician,  and I have pictures.  Mr. [redacted] did respond to the complaint by bringing $850.00 in cash.  This does not compensate for the fact that I have paid for materials that had to be purchased again for work to be corrected.  No Mr. [redacted] did not clean up and it took me some time to bring my house to a liveable space.  I will also send pictures of the so-called completed work that Mr. [redacted] did. It is the worst dry wall job I have ever seen.  I must live with it. I have no choice.  He cannot excuse poor workmanship. I consider this restitution with prejudice.
