The car was towed into our shop on December 27th Per a phone call from the condo association where she livesThe vehicle sat here Until January 6th when the condo association came down and paid for her vehicle She did not come down to our place of location till the next business dayAt the time she had come down she then advised us that the vehicle was not drivable and she wanted us to see what was wrong with the vehicle since it had been sitting for quite sometimes at her place of residence, we told her we would get it in and get her an answer by the next business dayUpon doing that our Mechanic advised the customer over the phone that the money she needed to put into the vehicle dose not make sense to do, she asked for prices on everything and what needed to be done, our mechanic went ahead and called several different places got the prices for the job that needed to be done tried faxing her a quote with the number she gave and it would not go threwWe tried to get in contact with her several times and she would not return a phone call to us till February 6th where she came into our place of business demanding that we give her the car back, we stated that per the state law with the amount of time that the vehicle sat here and several attempts to have her come pick up her car she needed to pay the state storage rates and a $Service charge for asking us to diagnose the problem with her vehicle, we gave her a discount rate on the diagnose fee seeing as she was a tow in customer trying to help her out when our Diagnostic labor rate starts at plus an hrShe then proceeded to swear and curse at our owner and accusing him of holding her car against her will, she got very nasty and went outside to call the copsthe [redacted] was dispatched and sent out to the shop when they came in she continued to have an attitude and told our office manager to stay out of this because she had nothing to do with it when our office manager was explaining to the cops our posted state storage ratesthe bill with storage and the diagnostic fee came to 724.24, my boss cut the bill down to $and had her get it taken out of her by another tow companyWe deal with 100's of tow customers everyday and we are a very reputable company, if we ran our business the way she is claiming to say that we did there would be 1000's of complaints, we take pride in our customer service and try and work with our customers to meet their needs, if we did not care about making our customer satisfiedour company would have never lowered the diagnosis fee to start with as well as taking almost off her bill to try and satisfy her that was done as a curtsey not an obligationwe are here Monday threw Friday she waited over a month to show up in person she is claiming that we were not returning her phone calls, if that where the case then why wait a over a month to come down hereif you need to discuses this further please feel free to contact our shop and ask for [redacted] thank you, [redacted] My Way Auto Body [redacted]

Review: My car was accidentally towed by my building, who paid to have my car released. I asked the Auto Body place to do a diagnostic on my vehicle and send me a quota prior to any work being done. I called the mechanic repeatedly who only returned my calls twice, in the last two weeks he did not respond. I was sick during this two week time period and wasn't able to go to their shop to ask for them to release my vehicle. I went today asking that they release my vehicle and that the mechanic told me on the phone that it would only cost me 65 for the diagnostic, but when I came today they refused to give my vehicle unless I paid them 724 for storage fees that was never told to me. The part of their business that was supposed to do the diagnostic never told me that oh each day we have your car we are going to charge you 27 dollars a day which isn't what the mechanic told me. The owner, [redacted] screamed at me when I asked for my vehicle to be released and that I would pay the 65 dollars for the diagnosis and 90 to have the car towed to another garage. ** kicked me out of the garage and refused to release my vehicle, I called the police which talked him down to 350 and so I paid but I plan to sue in small claims court to get my money back for storage I never owed them cause they refused to respond to my repeated calls.Desired Settlement: I would like My Way Auto Body be held accountable and to stop cheating customers. I also want my money back for storage fees I never owed them, cause don't you think if I really owed them 724 they wouldn't have settled for 350?
