Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my...

complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:Multiple calls were made to [redacted] shop in the weeks leading up to my wedding. No one ever answered or returned my calls besides [redacted] assistant who stated that [redacted] was "not in". I asked if I could pick up the dresses to which she replied "[redacted] hasn't said anything to me about any dresses" and that I would have to wait for [redacted] to be in. The dress I received from [redacted] had dirt on it. The one dress she did have at the store (even though she claimed to have three) was not completed, she had to hot glue gun gems on to the straps in front of me. In regards to me wanting to try and lose weight before the wedding, this was never discussed, and we did measurements in January. When measurements were taken, [redacted] said I "better not lose or gain much" because these were the measurements that she had to work with. I understand dresses take time, but there is no reason to say I was trying to lose weight when that is not the case. The measurements she took in January were the only measurements ever taken. We had met the first time a few months prior to that and we had "designed" a dress together with my mother. When we met again in January, she had lost all designs and we had to start over. Much of her communication to me had been through text messages, so I assumed this is how she liked to message, especially considering I received text messages from her at 2:30 in the morning. I understand people get sick, I am a nurse, but there is no reason that I couldn't have come in and see it at least, or have some form of update. Our appointments were canceled on numerous occasions, one of which [redacted] ended up being in the store when my mother arrived. [redacted] felt we were being intimidating but I felt we were being very calm considering it took until two weeks before my wedding to even see my dress. I had never heard back about the dresses, even after trying to contact her and her store, both by calling and texting, I have the call and text log to prove that I had made many attempts. It is very disheartening to have gone through such an ordeal for something that should have been an amazing time for me. It was stressful and while I understand it was a giveaway, it was a terrible experience. Giveaway or not, I would have hoped to have been treated a little better.
Regards,
[redacted]
