My World Tutoring Before & After Care

Review: My daughter is enrolled at My World Tutoring Center where they also offer vehicular services. I do not own a car so in addition to the monthly tuition, I also pay for my child to be picked up and dropped off to/from the center until I get home from work. The name of the driver is [redacted]). He is the husband of the center's owner, [redacted]. The problem I have is with the lack of communication when the center is closed. I have explained to [redacted] and [redacted] that I do not have a vehicle, nor do I have close friends/relatives to rely on. I have asked them to please communicate with me when the center is closed. I am a single parent. Other parents have the opportunity to greet **. [redacted] and [redacted] face to face when they pick up their child. Upon the face to face, **. [redacted] disseminates important information regarding the center, like closings and activities. Again since I have no vehicle, there is little to no opportunity to pass on information to me even though **. [redacted] and I briefly speak on the phone every day. I don't find out about closings until the day of, when no one shows up or answers my phone calls! Three weeks ago, the center attended a graduation and was closed. **. [redacted]'s reply was "Oh didn't I tell you? I'm sorry I must of forgot. Since I see the other parents daily I pass on the information to them but since I don't see you...". Fed up with the lack of communication, I asked for a summer calendar so I can be made aware in advance which days the center was closed. I was given a calendar for July & August. Although we were in the middle of June, no calendar was given for June. It is June 24th and I find out the day of (again) that the center is closed. But this time the center is closed for a week. A whole WEEK and nothing was given or said to me! I was yet again forced to call out from my job of 3months. These constant instances of no communication is a very poor reflection on how their business is run. I feel I am penalized just because I have no vehicle. Unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Intervention: I have explained to My World Tutoring my situation. They know I have no car, they know I am a single parent, they know I do not have alternate babysitters/drivers on stand by. In a sense, they know I need them! Why I am being punished for using their services? A service that was offered and is being paid for by me. I am not getting through to them. Perhaps someone else can. I have had enough of the unprofessionalism. I dont have their last name but can retrieve if needed
