Review: I paid, along with a class full of student, to get my yoga teacher training at My Yoga Revolution in Astoria. The owner, [redacted], comes off as weird but until 2 weeks ago all the students just wanted to receive our certification. She then went onto dismiss 3 students telling the rest of the class they are [redacted]. She had us all sign confidentially papers to not talk to these people, what she labels as criminals. Also, one the male student ejected from the program was dismissed because he took his shirt off to change in a changing area. Though, when she told the class, I actually assumed he tried to rape her!!! Then early this week, she said she cannot continue to teach us because physically and mentally they assaulted her and she is scared for her life. Telling us we should all leave New York. When we asked her if she was still going to teach students in Bail in the upcoming 2 weeks, she said yes she will be leaving. She said she may come back in September, so we are a class full of students whose money she took and we are all left with no certification. Upon tell us, well then sue me but it may torment your eternal soul. We have been looking more into the studio and her and have found out she is evicted from the studio, changed the name of her studio which used to be Creative Vibrations. Under that name it received an F rating and 2 complaints that were never answered. She advertises on [redacted], [redacted], posters throughout the city, and her website, about Yoga Teacher Training. We all feel she has done this before and we don't want this to happen again to a larger class of people. We really want to get this story out there because we feel she may be leaving the country for Bali and teach under another name when she returns....because she taught us under the name [redacted] but we found out that her name is [redacted]...or so we think. I know this sounds crazy...but there is so much more weirdness to this story.Desired Settlement: I want to make sure that [redacted]/ [redacted] doesn't take money away from another individual.

1) Intellectual Property Theft Plot

During the May Teacher Training Program, there has happened an unfortunate incident of the Intellectual Property Theft Plot against [redacted]'s My Yoga Revolution proprietary Method and System by former staff members/students [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted], (the individuals who are behind [redacted]'s legally unmeritorious complaint with the Revdex.com, in their attempt to use [redacted]'s complain as a "human shield"/legal defense to conceal their acts of Intellectual Property Theft).

2)Why [redacted] has been dismissed

The student, [redacted], has been dismissed from the Program not for "taking off his shirt", but for threatening the Program Director with a hammer, for CONCEALING the fact that he is a former convicted criminal in order to sneak into the Program, for his complicity to enroll into the Program with intent to steal the Intellectual Property of My Yoga Revolution Studio and for 2 other facts not disclosed here for reasons of privacy.

3)Emergency Closing duly stipulated in Enrollment Agreement

As a result of this Plot of Intellectual Property Theft by the above-mentioned individuals, one of whom has vowed to destroy [redacted]'s business and ability to "every teach again", [redacted] had no choice but to postpone the existing Program and has rescheduled the start date to September **([redacted]).

Program Postponement in the event of an Emergency is duly stipulated in the Enrollment Agreement signed by each student. The fact that 3 "Intellectual Property thieves" have enrolled into the Program with the sole intent of Intellectual Property Theft, destruction of livelihood, business and dignity of [redacted] has indeed been correctly assessed as an Emergency.

[redacted] has closed the studio for 3 months with the intent to find a proper legal, ethical and spiritual method/resolution to address this Emergency.

Program Postponement in the event of an Emergency is duly stipulated in the Enrollment Agreement signed by each student.

4) Tortious Interference

All students have been requested to sign Confidentiality Agreement to immediately cease all interactions with [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] in order to remain in the Program. Within a week, all students, including [redacted], have breached this Agreement, have been subverted with false information (that [redacted] has been evicted and "ran away with their money") and have been insited to sue [redacted] in the Small Claims court together/on the same dates and times as [redacted] or [redacted], with the court date scheduled in late fall, 2013, as "human shields" to conceal from the judge the Intellectual Property Thieves who are trying to pass as "innocent","wronged" students.

[redacted] has been insited to file her lawsuit in the Small Claims Court together and on the same date and time as [redacted], (the individual responsible for the theft of thousands of photographs of the Intellectual Property of My Yoga Revolution Proprietory Method and System from [redacted] and who is using [redacted]'s frivolous lawsuit, (and her emotional, but legally unmeritorious, "fraud" story) to DISOREINT AND DISTRACT the judge and to CONCEAL from the Judge her act of theft of the Intellectual Property from the Lawful Owner.

5) [redacted] s complaint is part of the defamation strategy by the Intellectual Property Thieves to DISORIENT, DISTRACT and SUBVERT the public opinion, to CONCEAL the Intellectual Property Theft Plot that has been orchestrated to steal [redacted]'s My Yoga Revolution proprietary Method and System, while falsely presenting/framing [redacted] to the public opinion as "the thief, who stole everyone's money and ran away".

6)As a result of breaching the Enrollment Agreement with the studio, by refusing to wait until the studio's reopening on september [redacted] and by breaching the Confidentiality Agreement with the studio, [redacted] has been dismissed from the Program and is therefore not legally eligible for any refund.

My complaint has not been resolved due to the fact that the I have not received my refund after many times of asking for it. I have since filed a suit in civil court.

For anyone looking to purchase classes or receive their Teacher Training Certification do so with caution. I have had a negative experience with the studio and teacher and my boyfriend and again have not been giving a refund of $1800. Beyond that, I wasted 4 weekends without receiving sufficient Yoga Teacher Training.

Review: I was accepted into the My Yoga Revolution Teacher training 3 week intensive. The teacher then canceled the 3 week course and moved me to the weekends course that would be completed at the end of June. She assured me that missing the 1st two weeks would be fine and she would work around my schedule. When my grandmother died she said I could continue the program even though I missed another week. Then I received an email that I was kicked out but after discussing she said she was going to give me my refund..which is in writing and she stated verbally to a group of people. When I went to get my refund, she denied it. Had me sign confidentiality forms and tried to get me to sign a DO NO SUE LETTER. The I proceeded to learned she canceled the whole course and other students are also left with money and a certificate of training. She said she may come back in September, so we are a class full of students whose money she took and we are all left with no certification. Upon tell us, well then sue me but it may torment your eternal soul. 1) The student was never "kicked out". After missing 3 out of the required 6 weekends, he has been dully given to fill out the Leave of Absence Form to restart the training at the time more manageable for him.

Instead, [redacted], has been insited to confront the Program Director that he believes the studio will never reopen again and has demanded a refund immediately.
