Review: The statements of the business claim that their hoses are washable and will not rust, however after proper usage of said hoses as well as "simply rinsing them clean" as their website states, the hoses over time, do in fact rust possibly causing serious health problems.Desired Settlement: I expect the business has the responsibility to have accountability for their statements. There are multiple photos circulating around the web of Mya Saray hoses cut open to reveal a rusted coil. I believe they should either edit their statements, or construct a hose with a plastic coil that does not rust.

Thank you for sharing this consumer notification with Mya Saray, LLC. We believe that this complaint is not well-founded for multiple reasons.

Mya Saray is a worldwide industry leader in the creation and sales of hookah products. Mya Saray, through its Middle Eastern equivalents, has been in existence in various forms since 1863. Throughout those 150 years, the Mya Saray company has been controlled by members of the same family. Mya Saray distributes and sells hookahs and hookah accessories to every continent, save for Antarctica. Mya Saray distributes and sells hookahs and hookah accessories and tobacco in most of the countries of the world including every country in North America, South America, and Europe.

Mya Saray is easily both one of the oldest and one of the largest hookah companies in the world. As a hookah company, Mya Saray controls every aspect of hookah distribution, from initial design and manufacturing to distribution and sales. Mya Saray currently distributes scores of hookah designs, and many hookah accessory products throughout the United States to distributors, retail stores, and consumers.

Mya Saray’s products are renowned for their distinctive shapes and high-quality construction that permit product longevity.

Because Mya Saray only constructs quality hookahs, Mya Saray offers warranties on all of its hookah products. However, there is no warranty that a hookah hose will be free from rust for the lifetime of the hookah hose. Mya Saray does represent that its hookah stems will not rust, and is one of the traits of a Mya Saray hookah that distinguishes it from its competitors, but in no packaging or other representation does Mya Saray claim that its hookah hoses will be free from internal corrosion. I include for your examination packaging for both a Mya Saray hookah, depicting the no-rust representation of the hookah stem (Exhibit 1); and a Mya Saray hookah hose, which you will notice lacks any representations regarding rust (Exhibits 2-3). Notwithstanding the lack of representations relating to rust for a hookah hose, Mya Saray constructs its hoses from high quality leather that permits frequent washing. Hookah hoses require frequent washing and Mya Saray hookah hoses tolerate frequent washing. To this end, Mya Saray hookah hoses are made of synthetic leather. Mya Saray’s hookah hoses are as well constructed as any hookah hose available. Contrary to this customer’s complaints, Mya Saray has not violated its representations or warranties.

Also, as Mya Saray’s line of hookah products and accessories constitutes marquee products, it is the subject of frequent counterfeit attempts. See, for example the attached case in which a regional distributor counterfeited Mya Saray products - including hookah hoses. It is common that complaints allegedly tied to Mya Saray products are counterfeit products constructed of inferior materials.

We have hoped to convince the Revdex.com that Mya Saray supplies only the highest quality hookah products and accessories. It is likely the case that the complainant has confused representations related to the stem with the hookah hose. Finally, Mya Saray has manufactured hookah hoses to the highest quality standards, which are washable to the extent described by written representations. Mya Saray trusts that the Revdex.com will make a suitable holding.
