For our next experience with them, currently ongoing, we have a leaking interior coil It took days of us calling Myers to get them to schedule us Once they did, they called the morning of the appointment to tell us the tech quit without notice and rescheduled for the next day So at this point, we've been days without AC The tech was hours late, and Myers doesn't answer after hours or on weekends, so we couldn't reach anyone to get an update to the missing tech Once he showed, he again showed us the email where the office gave him a hour appt window, but they told us a hour window He found the problem quickly and submitted for repair It took days for the office to submit the request to *** They lied repeatedly about having submitted it The techs are good, but the customer service is horrible The office staff are rude and lie The owner hasn't returned repeated voicemails to discuss his company's poor performance Do not use them if you can help

This is the worst company I have ever dealt withEvery employee is beyond incompetent and unorganizedThey have no records of anything that goes on within the companyI had a full HVAC repair and paid them hundreds of dollars they had no record ofDisputing my credit card charges and getting my money back

Originally [redacted] supplied [redacted] to do our repair They were unfriendly and did not even attempt to repair our system They just took the service charge and left Myers was the company to do the 2nd opinion Their techs do good work, when they show up They took minutes to find the issue and were correct about it It took 3+ week for them to come back to replace our compressor because of scheduling issues Multiple times technicians did not show up or were multiple hours late The office personnel routinely lie about what has or hasn't been done (for instance, they tell the customer a 1-hour window, but assign a hour window to the tech) It took months to get our compressor replaced and working correctly

Funny I found this because like so many others on here they did the same thing to meCame out 12/08/and determined the problemIt is now 12/and I had to initiate contact with them only to have there service girl tell me it was her first day which was a complete lieI spoke with this same lady on 12/My family has been without our aux heat and my heat pump has ran for straight days costing me a ton on my power billWe she finally called this morning she had no clue where my part was and on top of that that told AHS that they took care of me on the 13thThis is the poorest ran outfit I have ever seen and I would stray far away from doing business with this companyI would love to know if I hadn't called in would I have ever gotten a call back from these clownsStarts from the top down so save your excuses and the owner should take a long hard look in the mirror

rude receptionist, numerous attempts to reach, long phone wait times and never connected, sponsored by American Home Shield, a scam, be ware, avoid !!

We've had multiple bad experiences with Myers Comfort Specialists Poor customer service, poor quality of work, don't return phone calls, don't do what they say they will do, and they don't care
We've only used them because our home maintenance contract required us to I'll be giving a similar review to the home maintenance company If Myers is not dropped as a service provider from the Home maintenance contract, I'll have to change to another another warranty company

They totally SUCK! They have been to my location times in week'sStill not fixed Called and asked for the owner named Brandon M*** and of course he wasn't available! They SUCK!

This company is hired by American Home Shield Warranty They do not show up when they say they will The cancelled an appointment for me on Friday to say the person would be there between 8-Saturday When they didn't show up, I called Myers Myers voice services says they are open 8-on Saturday but no one answers the phone and their mailbox is full Do not use this company

Myers is terrible! We have been dealing with them for months as a provider through our home warranty company. It is clear they know we HAVE to use them becasue of the warranty and therefore the lack of attention to us as a customer is lacking. I suspect the only way they are still in business is due to the partnership with [redacted].

The tech was 3 hours late, and Myers doesn't answer after hours or on weekends, so we couldn't reach anyone to get an update to the missing tech. Once he showed, he again showed us the email where the office gave him a 4 hour appt window, but they told us a 1 hour window.

He found the problem quickly and submitted for repair. It took 3 days for the office to submit the request to [redacted]. They lied repeatedly about having submitted it.

Myers checked my A/C unit on July 2 and determined the compressor was bad. It is now 9 days later (9 days of 90+ degree weather, 9 days of my wife and 3 year old suffering in an incredibly warm house), and they WILL NOT communicate with me or my home warranty company. We have contacted them multiple times to check on the status of the repair. Each time someone says they will call us back, but it NEVER happens.

Long story short. If you are thinking about using Myers, or your home warranty wants to send them to your home, JUST DON'T DO IT.

Myers Comfort Specialists in Pelham, Alabama, was assigned by American Home Shield to repair our A/C unit. They responded to our AHS request within a resonable time frame and sent a repairman to our home on June 3, 2014. The repairman determined that our unit's blower motor needed to be replaced. He said that a new motor would be ordered and the repair most likely done within a few days.
We never received a follow up call from Myers, nor a call attempting to schedule the repair of our A/C. After several unreturned phone calls, I was able to reach a Myers representative on June 17, 2014. At that time I was told that a part was ordered. I also called AHS on June 18, 2014 to report that we had not heard from Myers during the two weeks since the repairman's initial visit and that they were not responding to our requests for an update. The AHS agent was able to reach Myers that day, but failed to call me to provide me with an update.
Over the next few days I attempted to reach Myers without success. On June 20, 2014, I spoke to a Myers representative, who told me that they actually couldn't find the correct part and that they had turned over the search to AHS. I then called AHS to confirm and AHS had no information about this - they were not looking for a part. The AHS representative then made a call to Myers and spoke with a representative there, who said that they did have the required part and would call within two hours to schedule the repair.
We received no call from Myers, so I called AHS again and AHS contacted their contractor relations department, who then contacted Myers. Myers called us on June 20 to schedule the repair. We agreed on June 24, 2014, between 2pm and 6pm. I took the afternoon off and waited. A Myers repairman did not come to our home, nor did I receive a call from the company. On June 25, 2014, I called AHS again and was told that they had contacted Myers through their contractor relations department. I then called Myers and was able to reschedule the repair for June 27 between 8am and 10am. Again, a Myers repairman did not come to our home and we did not receive a call. My husband called Myers at 9:40am that morning and was told that the repairman needed to pick up the part before coming to our home, but that he was on his way. When the repairman didn't arrive, my husband called again at 10:45am and was told that the repairman would be at our home within 1 hour 45 minutes. At 11:40am we received a text message stating that the repairman was on his way. He arrived within 30 minutes and completed the repair.
In short, Myers has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Just calling the company for information resulted in about a ten minute wait each time and then the representative more often than not just transferred me to voice mail. On one occassion, I called shortly before 5pm and when the phone was picked up, it was quickly hung up again as I imagine they didn't want to take any calls close to quitting time. The company rarely to never returned calls. The Myers staff is unfriendly and seemingly unwilling to work with customers to resolve issues or even to provide updates. Additionally, we received conflicting information from the different Myers representatives as though they themselves were unsure of the status of our repair. Only after 3 1/2 weeks, numerous calls to Myers and AHS, conflicting information, missed appointments, and a lot of frustration was our A/C unit repaired. I would never use this company again and would never recommend it to others.
