I contacted myers heating and air, I had a burnt out compressor in my unit. He stated that it was better to completely change unit because it would cost just about the same and the one he had still have warranty. He came out on Sat. Sept 26th 2020 the air in unit hasn't worked yet contacted him same day said he would come mon28th. Monday he never made it said he was at dr with grandchild. He stated he came in the week it was valve switch and fixed Friday oct 2nd 2020 without my knowledge the air still isn't working.

Mr. Myers was contacted the first week of November regarding him selling and installing a heat pump. He had quoted us 1475.00 for a used refurbished unit with installation included. An additional 300.00 was quoted for copper needed to complete the install but 400.00 additional was paid to him instead. The installation and full payment was made on 11/11/19 Upon completion he advised us a part needed to be order to complete install and run the copper tubing which is still not done to this date. He wrote us a receipt of work done and told us he would contact us when the part arrived. We waited a week out of courtesy and reached out to him regarding the part. He had stated he was sick with the flu and needed a week to get over it which is understandable. After the second week we contacted him over 10 to 20 times with no response as if we didn't exist. Mind you prior to us paying him the first of November when we were setting up the purchase he would answer on the first ring or text back. As of this point we have a useless unit outside of our house with no functioning capability. We are now without a heat pump and have to rely on emergency heat and kerosene which is hard on me and my children allergies. I am a former US Sailor and a heart attack survivor form 2015 and having decent heat is a real concern to me and my family. I am hoping for some type of resolution during this very cold time of the year. Thank you for reviewing this and for your time.

On 5/2/2019, I had purchased a used 2.5 Ton Outdoor Condensing Unit from Myers Heating & Air, LLC with installation on that day as well. After installation I noticed that there was freon leaking from the high side connection of the unit, I immediately call Mr. Myers and explained what I had found and he said, "I am on my way to a dentist appointment and I am not able to come back, would you take an adjustable wrench and tighten the connection and it will be fine". I proceeded to follow the instructions that Mr. Myers provided as it appeared he was not coming back to repair the unit. Then on 5/16/19 the unit began to freeze up everytime it would come on indicating that the freon levels were low. I texted Mr. Myers at 10:46PM with the following message "I apologize that it is so late, the ac is freezing up and I am wanting to know when you can check it please", I received no response that evening or in the morning. I called Mr. Myers again at 7:41AM on 5/17/19, the proceeded to tell me that the coil on the indoor unit must be bad and that it would be Monday before he could return to check it out and then it would be out of his warranty period. With temperatures that weekend to approach near 80 to 85, I had to resort to calling someone else to repair the unit. At that point I called ***, Mr. at this company was able to come out that day and service the unit. When Mr. checked the unit he found that the schrader valve for the high side line was bent and stuck in the open position allowing the freon to leak out of the unit, he also discovered that the cap that covers this was the incorrect cap and was allowing it to leak even more because it did not provide a proper seal. Mr. had to add 4 pounds of freon to the system and replace the bent schrader valve to correct the problem. At this point Mr. charged me $195.00 to repair the system. I have contemplated filing a complaint against Mr. Myers and his business because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I have then decided that this complaint is necessary to resolve improper business practices to me and possibly other customers. I am asking that Mr. Myers provide me payment of $195.00 for issues that occurred and caused me to have to take additional time from work to have this corrected. In my opinion more of an effort to resolve the issue on Mr. Myers behalf should have been done. I have noticed that upon both needs of Mr. Myers to correct problems, he always provided a good excuse to why he was not able to get there in a timely or any fashion at all.

On 6/30/19 contacted Myers heating and air to come look at my ac and I had told him another company said it was the compressor Jaimie Myers stated he had some ac units he could install....I stated to him that I had a home inspection that Friday that it had to be working at that time...he told me he could install one and have it running by that time....I gave him my address and he came about 945 on the first....he showed up about 945 and begin to look at my unit....I explained to him I’d rather her keep my unit and told me it would cost double that to fix...after looking at the unit he had with him I was hesitate..it looked very worn.I ask him if it worked and he replied yes...so at that time I had to leave and I paid him 1000 and went to work..I had my sister in the house and she had called me and stated they had left and the air still wasn’t working..I called him and ask was he gone ,and he said yes and then I ask was the air working....he said yes...at that time I just told him my sister said it wasn’t could he go back and look at it...he told me if it wasn’t working when I got home to call him....I got home from work that night the 1st of July and it was 88 degrees inside I called him several times and left messages....he never returned a call...I texted hi

I needed it fixed I have tow small children In the house one a 2 month old...he texted me back and said he was out of town and he would be back in Sunday and he would be right over...after not hearing from him Sunday I called him several times without getting an answer....so I texted him and told him I needed this fixed immediately..he texted back and said he would be here the following day which was Monday...after not hearing from him Monday I called him several more time ma and got no answer....I texted him again...I told him that I had already missed inspection and it failed.he stated his daughter was in erat that time I ask for my money back....

I have a document that you purchased a used unit with a 90 day parts warranty signed by you. (Attached) I'll fix any issue you have but I don't sell units and come and take them out.I will be there within 4-5 hours of hearing from you to fix the unit.

I had purchased that unit because I had a home inspection that Friday to sell my house....he knew this...I also ask him several times when he he could fix this! He told me three different dates and didn’t show up....the unit never worked.....and for that reason I want him to remove it immediately and put mine back and return my money.....I have text from him stating days he would come fix and he never showed...I missed work those days waiting on him....he is a liar and dishonest and I want the unit removed and mine put back.....he installed this Monday...when I got home that evening it wasn’t working..it’s never worked...how does a company install something and it not work and he not come the next day to fix?or how does he say he will be here on several other dates and not show up? I have him several chances so if the unit is not removed court will be my next action

We put the used heat pump in his house on July the 1st I left for the beach on the second. I told him when I got home that I would be out which I retourned home on the 8th his reply was I wasn’t coming into his property unless I was going to put his old broken heat pumpBack in and return his money. Per our warranty agreement signed by both parties the heat pump has a 90Day parts warranty. Thanks Jamie Myers

Per our phone conversation with Revdex.com Jamie Myers was aware I had a home inspection Friday July 5 he installed a unit on Monday and it never worked.I gave him several chances to fix and he never came and I have the text to prove that...after doing some research I found that Jamie Myers isn’t *** some guy name *** is andif you care to look this up you will see it’s listed under sole Proprietor...Jamie Myers does have a business license under his name in *** County and that’s listed as sole Proprietor.... his business is listed as *** and the business that had the license is listed as ***...I’ve contactwd the contractors board and I’ve had all the dealings with him meaning Jaimie and it’s unla for to contract work out

Messaged *** last week ask him to give me a call. That if the unit we put in for him was in the same shape that it was when installed. We would take out the unit we put in and return his money. I sent email to you the same day. That the call was made. Haven’t received a return call as of today. Thanks Jamie
