I am rejecting this response because: The $has been debited from my account since 8/26/I have not stopped payment but did question the charge especially once Diane M*** revealed to me Myers Motorsports was on a month PA state inspection suspension and vehicles were being outsourced for inspectionSo it's not theft of servicesI paid the money but the money was being held up by the credit card company while an investigation was being performed.
Again, I made the initial call to schedule an appointment with Diane M*** to bring my car over for inspection and emissions and wait for it. Diane told me I would have to drop it off because she couldn't guarantee it could be done right then and there. Again I personally dropped my car off and had to arrange for someone to pick me up.( which was am inconvenience) I spoke to Diane who met me across the yard, and told her I was dropping off for inspection and emissionsNobody talked to my "male friend" until after I received the voicemail from Diane Myers that my car failed inspection and would need workI had my "male friend" call to see what work needed doneThis is not just about moneyThe charge is what tipped me off that something wasn't right with the whole situation to begin with, which led to an investigation

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
1) I personally dropped my car off at Myer's Motorsports on 08/25/at which time the family was sitting at their covered patio in the back yard. I met Diane M*** half-way across the back yard and I personally handed the keys to her and told her I was dropping it off for inspection and emissionShe said, "Ok, I will let him know." I had a friend, not my boyfriend follow me there to give me a ride home since Diane told me on the phone I would have to drop off, I could not schedule an appointment. He saw me give the keys to Diane2) I received a voicemail on 08/26/from Diane M*** that my car passed emissions but failed inspection and would need some workI called back and asked Diane for a cost of the repairsI would need to figure out finances first and then bring my car back in for the needed repairsDiane said, "I have to for warn you that it would be a half hour labor charge to write up the estimate." I told her I never heard of such a thing. Any prior mechanic I have dealt with had an estimate prepared and offered to do the needed repairs to pass inspectionI told Diane to "Forget the estimate, I will pick up my car tonight." My boyfriend went and picked up the card, not paying attention to the amount charged because he was trying to discuss the needed repairs with Barry M*** who knew nothing about my car even though his name was listed as the technician on the invoice3) I had left a message regarding the advertised price on www.***.com with current coupons and the charged price on 08/26/I had asked for a call back which I did not receiveI called again on 08/27/and spoke with Diane. In regards to the advertised price on www.***.com of $she said "I told my dad to take that off of there." I told her I would like the price honored since my family has been loyal customers for several yearsShe told me that the inspection stickers have increased from $to $5. I stated three times I would like the advertised price honored and the difference of $refunded on my VisaDiane told me she would have to discuss it with her father and if he agreed to the refund I would have to get cash since their credit card machine already did it's settlement for the previous day. I again asked her about the price jumpDiane told me that they were outsourcing the vehicles and that was the main reason for the price increaseI told her my boyfriend could do the repairs and I would bring it backShe told me to call before I did soI asked her what she had meant by outsourcingDid they have a mechanic that only came to their shop on certain days and was that why I couldn't schedule an appointment for the inspection? Diane proceeded to tell me that they are under a month suspension from the state beginning 07/02/but wasn't sure when it ended because the stated didn't take their stuff until 07/22/14. She told me they didn't want to turn away customers so they were having another garage perform the inspectionsShe tells me there will be another fee for re-inspectionI told her Barry told my boyfriend there would not be a charge(Barry later confirms this to me and Diane on 08/29/14)
4) On 08/29/I stopped in at Myers Motorsports and spoke with both Barry and Diane M***. First I discussed the price discrepancy with BarryHe told me that $is not on www.***.com and he didn't know where I was getting that informationHe was sitting at his computer so I told him to look up the websiteHe tried to tell me I needed a coupon for that priceI told him they are advertising "Our goal is to keep your vehicle on the road and save you moneyCheck out this every day deal, Emission and inspection just $48.16" Barry then states he tried to change that on the website and wasn't sure why it didn't accept the changesI also asked for a new copy of my invoice as the one they gave originally was barely legibleBarry states, "I don't think we have it" Diane had walked into the room at this point and pulled my invoice out of an accordion file in front of Barry's desk and made me a copy. I also wanted to speak to the person who found the things wrong with my car because I had questionsBarry said it was "Probably one of our guys" I told him that I know they are on a month suspension for state inspections and that they are taking cars to another garageAt first Barry denied itI said I want to know who inspected my car and where you took it without my knowledge or consentBarry says, "Probably to Jim's" and motions down the road. Diane stated that she did the emissions and inspection. I asked her if she took my car to Jim's and he agreed with all of her findingsShe states, "Yes." I asked for a full refund since they were dishonest and I would need to take my car to another mechanic to have inspection and emissions performed againI can't trust that the emissions was even performed or performed correctlyI did not need them to be the "middle man" to take my car to Jim's for inspectionIf Diane had been honest on the phone from the beginning and said I'm sorry we can't perform inspections right nowI would have gone elsewhere. Barry told me to "Do what you got to do, I'm not giving you a refund."
5) Diane Myers does not reveal what "her website" is. www.***.com is now advertising inspection and emissions at $If Diane truly is the owner of her father Barry's business than she should know all websites and advertising created by her father6) While on a state suspension Myer's Motorsports can't perform PA state inspections and get a sticker from another garageThat is illegalMyer's Motorsports advertising and accepting customers for PA inspections while on a suspension is illegal6) I did take my car to another garage where it passed inspection and emissionsThe pitman arm and axle seal leak were found to be fine which Diane said was a problemMy boyfriend had replaced the ER brake and rear brakes which Diane also listed as a problemRegards,

We at Myers Motorsports want to keep our customers happy that is why we have been in business 44 years at the same location. As to this case [redacted] had her Boy Friend drop this vehicle off at which time he was told of our station being under a 2...

month suspension and if it passed we would be taking the vehicle to another station for the inspection sticker. [redacted] fails to include in her complain that we did do her emission inspection which passed and we issued the sticker here . we guess she would want us to give her this free. At the time we also checked the vehicle to see if it would pass the state inspection as to her Boy Friends instrutions. The vehicle in question failed for reasons that where listed on her billing. After pricing out the cost which she was not charged for her Boy Friend said he would do the repairs himself. We told him we would not charge him for a reinspection if he did the needed repairs but we would check to see the repairs were done. Now as to us taking the vehicle anywhere to have it checked this would have been a waste of time as it would not pass. We never had it to [redacted] Automotive so that part of her complain is unfounded. We do not intent to give a refund or written apology as we did the work and are allowed to be paid for that work. No sticker fee was charged for the inspection. While we tried to explain to [redacted] all this and that we would take the vehicle for the Sticker at no more cost to her if the repairs were made she seemed to think the repairs were not needed . Dishonesty I think not we were up front with her Boy Friend and told him our prices when up because the state up prices to us. The web site was my dads which I had no idea of or knew to remove when he owned the business. I own the business now and he owns that site
my site has no pricing on it.

Review: Advertised on www.[redacted].com for everyday low price of $48.16 for inspection & emissions. I was charged $70.46 on a receipt with Myers Motor Sports letterhead as if they had performed all services. Myers Motor Sports did not disclose to me that they were unable to perform PA State inspections because they have been under a 2 month suspension since 07/02/14. They performed emissions & safety check. They knew after performing the safety check that it would not pass but failed to notify me of repairs needed and took it to [redacted], PA without my knowledge or consent to have a state inspection performed. Inspection failed. Myer's Motor Sports said they would charge me a half hour of labor $34 for a written estimate. I confronted owner Barry M[redacted] & his daughter Diane M[redacted] about their dishonesty and asked for a full refund since I would need to take my vehicle to another garage. My request was denied.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $70.46 and a written apology from Barry and Diane M[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The $70.46 has been debited from my account since 8/26/14.
