Paid 1,000.00 to have a subdivision done by Mr. M[redacted]. First he stated 2 weeks to have the usrvey completed. Finally 6 months later he produced a cartoon sketch that could not be filed in the court house. He additionally he never placed monuments ( iron pins) at the property corners as he was paid for. At a later date he stated that someone must have removed the pins. When questioned about the survey not being able to be filed in the court house he responded saying a survey of said quality would cost additional. He has since ignored all phone calls and charges are pending in court.
NEVER PAY THIS MAN FOR ANY SERVICE.

Review: I paid mr. [redacted] 1000.00 on march 25, 2014 to survey 5.08 acreas of land . said it would be done in 2 weeks , it has now been 6 months. I would like my 1000.00 back so I can find someone to do the job. He is not returning my calls . I know i'm not the only one he's done this to. I just want my money back or the survey done now.Desired Settlement: refund my 1000.00 or survey land immediately.

Review: I called Mr. M[redacted] on 9-13-15 and asked him if he could do a survey for me and a price. He called me back the morning of 9-14-15 and said he could and it would be between 500-700 dollars and that he would be at my home shortly. He instructed me to go to the [redacted] WV court house and pull the neighboring deeds because he would need them to complete the survey. I did as such and Mr. M[redacted] came out and looked at the deeds and hung a few survey markers and then left; he said he would be back later that evening to do the survey. He showed up later that day (9-14-15) with his survey equipment and his wife (why he didn't bring them in the 1st place I will never know) and shot the property. He asked for a $500.00 deposit which I gave to him in the form of a check; check #[redacted]. He said he would be back on Friday the 18 or Saturday the 19th to give me the maps and put the corner markers in. He wrote me a handwritten receipt that was illegible and then left. He didn't ask me to sign the receipt or I would have inspected it closer. He put on the receipt that he gave me an $800- $1,000 estimate which was not what he told me on the phone because I would have chosen a different company due to price. He not only did not show up he didn't even call. We tried calling him on all the numbers on the receipt but were unable to reach him. We called 4 days straight and on Tuesday. The 22nd and he said that he had some health problems but would be out on Sunday the 27th to finish the job. We waited until 4:00P.M. Sunday to start calling because we had not heard from Mr. M[redacted]. We tried all the numbers at all of his locations and eventually my wife found another number which turned out to be his home number on google. [redacted]. He answered and said he was on the couch with a back ache and wouldn't be coming out. I told him that a phone call that he wasn't coming out would have been in order, especially since this was the second time he didn't show up and the second time he didn't call to say he wasn't showing up. He said "I will give you that, I should have called." Then he said "he would be here on Tuesday 29th or Wednesday the 30th" I started calling his office around 1:30P.M on the 30th because he didn't show up or call on the 29th and it was getting late in the day on the 30th and I needed to know if he was coming or not. I called [redacted] and a secretary answered the phone. I asked her where Mr. M[redacted] was and she said "in the field" I asked her to contact Mr. M[redacted] on his cell phone to see if he was coming out or not. She said "it’s my first day and I don't have his cell phone number but I will leave a message for him to return your call". I did not receive a phone call from Mr. M[redacted]. This is the 3rd time he did not show up to complete the survey, the 3rd time he didn't call me to tell me that he was not coming. He took my money (cashed my check the next day on 9-15-15) gave me 3 dates he was going to show up on and failed to show up on any of the dates, failed to call on any of the dates to inform me that he wasn't coming. He has offices in [redacted] WV, [redacted] WV, [redacted] WV and all the phone numbers are forwarded to the same answering machine; to the same number that he does not answer. I am in need of this survey because I just bought a house and the neighbor’s septic tank is in my back yard and there is a right of way dispute. The bank lawyers are waiting on this survey to go after the sellers. Every time I get a new date from Mr. M[redacted] I call the bank. Every Time he doesn't show I got to call the bank. Mr. M[redacted] was aware of this situation and that this was a time sensitive matter. This is the last thing I need right now. I paid the man for services yet he continually lies to me, give me new dates he's going to show up, doesn't show, doesn't call to say he is not going to show. It’s now 5:20 pm. No call; No show again for the 3rd time.Desired Settlement: Complete survey this week at estimate that was quoted or issue a refund immediately. I do not have the money to pay someone else to do the survey because MR. M[redacted] has 500 dollars of mine.

Review: I asked Randall for a quote of how much money it would cost and how long it would take to survey a house I was looking into buying. I decided to hire another surveyor and Randall sends me a bill charging me 55 dollars for the quote. He never mentioned that a quote from him would cost any money and I never agreed to pay any money for a quote and I don't plan on paying him one cent for his quote. He has been harassing me by mail and phone to pay him for his quote. His business practices are not only unprofessional but bordering on fraudulent. I would not recommend him if he was the last surveyor on earth!!!Desired Settlement: For him to have his surveying license revoked but right now I would just settle for him leaving me alone.
