I cannot even give this company 1 star. Customer Services Representatives are rude. They overschedule their technicians then they call you the day of to cancel the appt. They say they have shipped the parts but after waiting a week the parts do not show up. I called them and miraculously they show up the next day. I have been waiting over a month to have my washing machine fixed! Today was the third time of them canceling the service appt-no resolution in sight. I am tired of spending money twice a week at the laundromat.

Overall, my experience with this company has been frustrating. This company was recommended by Lowe's as a preferred repair provider. Lowe's initiated the service call, and I was contacted by Appliances Unlimited via email providing directions on how to upload a picture of the service tag to help expedite service. I followed the directions, uploaded a photo and heard no response back. When the repair person arrived, he effectively told me that he never received the service tag information. Having this would have sped up the repair process, I was told. He then proceeded to take a picture of the service tag and charge me for the full cost of repair - before the part even arrived or a follow up appointment scheduled. I called the company that day, asked why the repair person never received the tag. I was told that the picture I submitted was "unreadable". I asked why I wasn't contacted if they had an issue - the person on the phone responded "I don't know, and I don't know what to tell you". The result of this is - I now have to wait another 7 days for the technician to return and install the part, which to date has not yet happened. There is clearly something wrong with the process in handling the intake and management of service calls, which appears to be the primary purpose of this company.

I have been trying to get my refrigerator serviced by Fast Appliance Repair since mid-August My daughter and I welcomed them to our home and have done all our part in a friendly manner Their repairman, Bob originally stopped by for five minutes and told us it is the sensor and charged us and ordered part On Aug 29th Bob stopped by replaced sensor charged us and left The problem occurred that afternoon and fridge was beeping I called them immediately that the fridge is not fixed, and they said they will send back the repairman A service call was scheduled, and I stayed home They called me in the afternoon and rescheduled Bob stopped by on Sep and called the factory They asked for the error code which was the number of beeps I told him I wish we knew this from the beginning and offered to count and document the beeps The next day my daughter videotaped and counted the error codes, which is beeps I notified the repairman by text and sent him the video on

I have never experienced such unprofessional and unqualified services as that of Appliances Unlimited located in Reading, PAWe had contacted Appliances Unlimited to service our Bluestar range exhaust fanThat was back on June 6, Their service repair individual came out on June 9, looked at the blower, and told us we needed a new oneHe said that he would be in touch with BlueStar and would get back to us with the cost and estimated time of deliveryNo one got back to us and a week passedOn June 13, we phoned Appliances Unlimited to check on the status of our serviceAt that time we were told they would get in touch with BlueStar and get back to usNo one didOn June 23, we called in again and were told once again that they would contact BlueStar and get back to usOnce again they failed to call usWe waited until June and called a fourth time, only to be told that they would checkBased on their notes, it appears that they had no idea of where the part was or if it was even orderedWe then called BlueStar directly on June to find out where the hold up wasBlueStar tracked it down for us and told us that the part would shipped that dayWe phoned AU again on July to check on whether or not they received the blowerThey said they had not and that they had no tracking information in their systemLater in the day we received an email stating that the part was out for deliveryThe blower was delivered to our homeOn July 11, the same service individual came to install the new blowerHe was unable to unscrew the blower from the vent, having arrived without the necessary toolsThis surprised us considering he was the individual that had examined the blower initially, so should have been aware of what was needed to install the new oneWe were told that we would have to reschedule for another service time on a different day so that he would be able to get the needed tools to complete the jobHe took a picture of how the old blower was installed at that timeWhen we phoned AU to reschedule, the individual on the phone insisted that she would let us know when the needed "part" came in and would contact usIt took a while to make her understand that we had the part, and that we simply had to reschedule because the service person didn't have the proper toolsFriday, July 15, the same service individual arrived, removed the old blower, but was unable to install the new oneHe stated that he was attempting to phone BlueStar for directions! He left the house to go outside, remained outside by his truck for minutes, at which time I went out to ask what was going onHe replied that he did not know how to install the new one, and was unable to reach BlueStar for guidanceI asked him how he could return to a job without knowing how to proceed! I reminded him that not only did he just remove the old one, he had now seen how the old blower was installed on two separate occasions, and had actually taken a picture of it the last time he was hereI went on to ask him why he hadn't acquired the necessary information before he returnedHe shrugged his shoulders and responded that he didn't have the necessary toolsI asked if that meant I'd now have to schedule a fourth service appointment, to which he responded "yes"I told him that was ridiculous and that this was unacceptableHe said that he would leave and take the new blower with him I asked to speak with his supervisor, and smirking, he made a phone call and proceeded to talk to the person on the other line as if I wasn't thereHe was confirming with the person on the other end that he was going to take the new blower with him and charge us for a service call! I insisted on speaking to the individual, who proceeded to tell me that he told the young man to go and get the necessary tools and return that dayThis was not what the young man had told meAfter ending our phone conversation, the service individual admitted that he had never installed a blower - in fact had never done any sort of installationAt that point I told him to forget it, and that we would purchase the blower and find someone elseWhen we went inside, he asked me what he had quoted as being the price of the blowerI said I did not know, that he had spoken to my husband about thatHe went on to tell me that he was also trying to speak with BlueStar because the new blower did not seem to spin freely- that it made a grinding noiseHe held the new blower up, and when spun, it seemed to sound like the fan blades were catching on the sideI told him to forget it all and take the new blower with himOne and a half months later and having spent three full days waiting for Appliances Unlimited to come to the house, we are still without a working blowerWe now have to start all over again, now ordering the part on our own and seeking out our own installerI am absolutely appalled and infuriated by the whole experience

If I could give less than star I wouldIt has been a nightmare dealing with this companyFrom the inexperienced and nonchalant customer service reps to the techs coming to my home 3x's in the last month and my washer still not being fixedI just bought this washer in OctoberJust ridiculous

After coming out to our home to fix and issue for a leaky dishwasher, our dishwasher immediately started erroring out and not completing any cycles When contacting them to come out and fix the issue that they caused they told us that our warranty company had to be contacted Apparently they want their technicians mistakes covered under warranty They are still refusing to send a technician out to fix the error that they caused With that being said their customer services is terrible The lady I spoke to on the phone treated me like I was some type of it for suggesting they come out and fix the problem that they caused

I bought my fridge about a year ago so luckily I still had my warranty at the end of last year when my ice maker stopped working Unfortunately I had to have the tech come back times before he was able to actually fix it which meant sitting at home waiting for hours during my window every time Eventually he got it working again Now about 1/months later it has completely stopped working again and now I am out of warranty I called Appliance Unlimited to ask them if they could help me considering something was clearly done wrong since it took so many trips for them to get it working and now a few months later is was not working again I was given no help and simply kept being told they only offer a day warranty and that is industry standard I would be charged if I wanted to have them come out a 5th time Thanks but no thanks Will never use them again

We purchased an extended warranty through ** for our refrigerator Appliances Unlimited was the repair company they choose to send out The issue with our refrigerator started on February 8, Scott D*** was sent to our home and determined that the compressor needed to be replaced He did not come to install the compressor until about February 21st On February 24th the refrigerator was not cooling again We spoke with Becky T***, who was not very helpful and told us that Scott would be back out again if we picked up the phone at the end of the day At this point behind the produce drawers were leaking Freon When he checked the system he spilled Freon all over our kitchen and told us he had to order another part He returned the following week to replace that part He had to order parts because he wasn't sure which part he needed Therefore, when he came back the next day to pick up the extra part I told him once again that it was not cooling He spent some time l

Our year old *** *** *** was making loud banging noises when spinningWe called *** *** who sent a repair tech on 3/19/18, who told us it needed new shocks and charged us $for repairsAfter installing the new shocks the problem continued On a second visit on 4/4/18, the tech told us it did not need the shocks, but rather a new master circuit board and charged us another $ The tech returned on 4/10/with the new circuit board, but never installed it After looking at the machine again he said the problem was bad bearings on the drum A replacement drum and bearings (sold as one piece) would cost $He never even removed the new circuit board from the box We had already paid them $and the machine did not operate at all When I complained about all we had spent I was told he would ask his boss to remove the charge for the circuit board(which he never installed) and reduce the amount paid for the shocks He told me I would

After visits, still do not have a working dishwasherHad to use them with an extended warranty from LowesFirst visit was for a leak, came out to look had to order a partA week later, they "fix" the leak, however they failed to secure the front cover properlyA week later they come out to fix that, In that week, we noticed a burning smell, asked them look at itThe secured the front cover, could not find anything with the burning smellNext day, have to call Lowes again for the burning smell getting strongerA week later, they come out, say the junction box located right next to the valve they replaced has a wire that is meltingthey have to order another partA week after that, the come back to replace the junction box, once again fail to secure the front cover properlyIncompetentAwfulI complained to LowesIf you have a choice, do not use this company, if they try to force them on you, again, ask for someone else

I have a *** refrigerator ("Unit"), which on July 5, broke down and was not freezing or coolingI contacted *** about my Unit and they advised me to call Fast Appliance Repair ("Servicer") to repair my Unit I called Servicer and they came out on July 9, 2018, Servicer informed me that I needed a mother board for the Unit to be repaired and they do not carry parts on their truck and I would have to pay in full, up front the total cost of parts, tax & S+H and they would then order the part and I would be notified by email when my part came in and then I would have to schedule Servicer to come out and actually repair the Unit I called Servicer on July 13, & 18, 2018, but they did not know when my part would be in I called *** to complain that I have been without a Unit for about weeks, *** put me on hold and came back and told me that they would replace my refrigerator and I told them that would be great but I already paid for the repair, *

trying to get warranty service on my week old Samsung refrigerator - first went through Samsung and verified all the information for the warranty and was issued a ticket number When I called Appliances Unlimited to schedule an appointment I was told they needed a copy of my receipt before they would schedule How am I supposed to get that to them? I don't have a fax at home and I have a hard copy of my receipt - they closed the ticket so now I'm back at square one
