I purchased unbreakable glasses and they have broken twice. They refused to warranty the replacement and required that I buy new ones.I purchased what I was told as unbreakable glasses, these glasses have since broken twice in a few short years. I recently went back to get another pair that had broken fixed. I had this current set less than one year and was told that they would not be covered under warranty. That the warranty was only for the original pair for one year, regardless of how many times they break. Since the original set was purchased over one year, the new pair is not covered under anything, even though they are defective and broke.I was forced to purchase another set that should have been covered by warranty. The set the was defective and broke, was under one year old and should be covered by warranty.Desired SettlementI am requesting that the defective set be covered under warranty and a refund of 96.20 be applied. That the current set as be covered by warranty if they break within a year.Business Response Mr [redacted] originally purchased the frame on July 10, 2010. We provide a 1 year warranty on all frames we offer. This particular frame is made of a flexible material and is not unbreakable. We have warrantied the frame purchase for Mr [redacted] twice, the 2nd time was past the 1 year warranty date. I have tried to reach Mr [redacted] at the phone numbers we have on file and have yet to receive a call back. I am certainly willing to speak with Mr [redacted] to come to a resolution.

I purchased 2 pair of glasses and paid for them.They keep changing the delivery date.I purchased 2 pair of glaases on 6/8. Approx cost of over $900. I was promised these glasses on 6/19 as I was preparing to go on a trip. On 6/19 I was told the delivery date was now set for 6/22. On 6/22 I was "assured" they would arrive in 2 days. On 6/25 I am being told they could possibly arrive in 3-5 days. I have paid for these glasses and I can no longer delay my ten day trip now set for 6/28 which means I will be forced to travel without my glasses and not receive them for at least 12 days providing they even have them by 7/7. This is totally unacceptable service and as a disabled senior citizen I am outraged and should receive some sort of discount on these glasses for having to wait so long! I paid by Credit card and private insurance ([redacted]). My name is [redacted]Desired SettlementImmediate delivery of my glasses and refund of some of the cost of these glasses.Business Response In reviewing Mr. [redacted] order information, it appears we should have relayed a promise date of June 22. However, if our associate verbally communicated a promised completion date of June 19, we should have met that expectation and regret being unable to deliver on our promise. Unfortunately, in addition to the poor communication regarding the completion date, our production laboratory experienced an error and had to restart the orders. Following the restart of his orders, our initial expectation for receiving his orders was June 26. We received one pair of the eyeglasses on June 26 but the sunglasses were not delivered until July 14 due to production issues. While we were unable to provide Mr. [redacted] with his sunglasses prior to his trip, we did dispense the eyeglasses to Mr. [redacted] on June 26. Our office manager, [redacted] spoke with Mr. [redacted] by phone and offered a $100.00 refund as a means of compensating him for the inconvenience and frustration he endured because of the order delays. Mr. [redacted] has not taken advantage of this offer, but we are more than willing to deliver this partial refund upon his request.Once the sunglasses were made available to Mr. [redacted] on July 14, he worked with our associates to exchange the eyeglasses to a different type of lens, from bifocal to trifocal lenses. We provided the change in lens type at no additional cost to Mr. [redacted] as part of our effort to compensate him for the order delays. I can confirm that the new eyeglasses arrived on July 23, our associates notified Mr. [redacted] and look forward to his return visit so we may deliver the eyeglasses and assist in resolving any outstanding concerns. While I regret the lengthy delays in producing and delivering Mr. [redacted] eyeglasses and sunglasses, I believe we have satisfied Mr. [redacted] concerns in the delivery of his sunglasses, upgrading his eyeglasses at no additional cost, and offering to provide direct monetary compensation.
