The good thing, is the Doctor who did my exam (5/21/26 Calera, AL) made me feel like he cared and his exam was very informative and helpful for my new diagnosis for diabetes . This leads me up to the pure disappointment, I went to a different MyEyeDr location to Purchase my frames and lenses because I wanted the Meta frames. We ordered my frames and everything seemed to be going well, then came the delivery date and all "heck" broke loose. I was being told yes they are still coming just a delay, to find out when I ordered my frames the office had just switched to a new lab, and some how my order got cancelled without notification. So, now that pushed me out further to get my glasses so I can see from my prescription changing from diabetes! I then get notification that my insurance was a delay even though I did not understand how that happened. Then I got a call and was told my frames that I ordered were no longer in stock and I need to change my color, which now has pushed me out even further on my frames. I spoke with a manager on 6/16 and she assured me she was going to put my order in which was going to push my arrival date to 7/07, well as of today 6/17 I still have not gotten assurance that my frames were ordered she was supposed to email me with details and she did not. I looked on the website for my expected arrival and it's still saying the previous order information (which had to be cancelled) I called today to try to verify and now no one is available to speak to regarding my concern. This is dangerous for me to not have the proper eyewear because this office is not ran correctly. I'm beyond upset and I'm very concerned when I get them they might not be the right prescription at this point. They have my insurance tied up, or I would have gotten a refund and went elsewhere! This issue has been on going since 5/22 this is a very terrible experience and no one should have to deal with excuses when it comes to their vison!
