Review: This commissioner has poor customer service as well as no respect for her customers. I commissioned this person to make a detailed costume for me, and as of August 2012, she agreed to complete the commission. I promptly sent the requested 50% upfront payment to reserve a spot on her schedule and to begin product production. She is in breach of a signed contract we had made for a product completion date of February, 2013. She continued to make false promises of getting the costume shipped to me before my absolute deadline of July, 2013. She still has not shipped my item to me, and she has missed deadline after deadline we have agreed upon via e-mail and public Internet forums. She claims the costume is completed and just needs to be shipped, so why she does not do so is beyond me. Since the summer of 2013, almost a dozen other customers have come forward publicly with similar complaints of missed deadlines and not receiving their ordered products. This person sounds very much like a scam artist to me! If she is not a scam artist, then she needs to rectify the situation.Desired Settlement: I would like the seller to do what she promised to do: send me my commissioned product with insurance and tracking number as soon as possible! The seller claims the product is finished and just needs to ship out, so this is what she needs to do. She has delayed sending it to me since February, 2013! She is in breach of our signed contract and product completion date, and she needs to rectify the situation. No customer deserves such blatant disrespect. I will not permit her to steal from me.

Review: September 10, 2012, I commissioned an "Avengers" Loki costume from Lynn Nguyen (a.k.a. Mykaios on FB, Tumblr and other forums). Total price quoted was $1500. Sent first payment to secure commission spot and signed contract confirming that the costume was to be completed and delivered to me in time for Portland Comic Con (February 22-24, 2013) which the commissioner promised would happen. Was promised in-progress photos and regular updates re: progress of costume throughout, as stipulated in signed contract.Full half-sum payment ($850 direct to her, plus $270 for additional materials which initially she promised she could make, then suddenly turned around and said she couldn't, and forced me to rush to find someone else who could do so, at cost to me) for costume made as of November 04, 2012. No in-progress photos of costume provided, nor detailed updates, and product was not completed nor delivered in time for the event. I moved the deadline back to Sakura Con (March 29-31) and was promised that the costume would be finished for then, but again it was not. I moved the deadline further to Fan Expo Vancouver (April 20-21) and Lynn explicitly promised me that the costume would be completed and delivered to me in time for that event. It was not.I only received one small photo of fabric swatches on April 20th, but before and since then have received nothing. My final, absolute deadline for completion and receipt of the costume was for Dragon*Con Atlanta (Labour Day weekend, 2013). I did not receive it, and she informed me that the costume would in fact not be sent out at all until she posted pictures of it - but she did not specify when that would be. Was promised its delivery first by end of October, then first week of November, and that has not happened, and Mykaios has refused to maintain communication with me. I do not know where my money has gone, nor if I will ever receive the costume. Here is the link to my Cosplay.com forum review thread: http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=331063Desired Settlement: I request the immediate shipment of the costume for which I have paid (half-sum, yes, but I will not pay any more money to someone who has behaved like a scam artist at every turn) - to be boxed up and delivered to me by priority/express mail method, with active and working tracking number and with insurance. Additionally, I request a refund of at least a portion of the money I paid her, since I have no proof right now that she's even worked on the costume at *all*, this whole time.
