I was trying to locate a long lost friend. I searched everywhere with no luck. Then someone recommended MyLife. I went through registration process, which was simple. Only area of concern is that they offer many products, and I just simply was looking to locate and contact someone. So be careful as they have a few different products. I received an offer to join my life for one month for $9.99 and I signed up for it. Then I changed my mind 15 minutes later and called to cancel it. I was told that it had been canceled. Today there is a $119 charge on my Visa for mylife.com.
I called and asked them to cancel it and refund my money. I was put on hold..waited for 30 minutes..while they tried to find "the recording of my call". I finally hung up and called back. I asked the woman who answered to cancel my account and refund my money. I was told that there is nothing they can do about it. I told her to cancel my account and refund my money. She offered me a special offer of$29.99. I said absolutely not and I told her that if they do not cancel my account and refund my $119 I will report them to the Revdex.com. She gave me a confirmation number and said that the money should be refunded within 24 hours. It better be.

This company is a scam. They try to charge you for a service that they will not provide. There is no way to unsubscribe from their e-mails. They should be put out of business and banned from scamming unsuspecting people.

Unable to unsubscribe despite repeated requests. get harassing emails several times a day.

I did not "join" or authorize anyone to gather personal information about me to use to obtain a job or credit or anything else. I made several attempts to file an online complaint but the website isn't working properly. I want my name, the picture of the person who is NOT me removed as well as the inaccurate information that is most likely associated with the person pictured with the same name as mine. I've tried to call their customer cr and only got a recording and there was no option to speak to a customer care person. My privacy is important to me and if I don't put my personal life on public websites then no one else should be doing so. Shut this website down because it violates my right to privacy.

Customer service is poor. I would never recommend this site to anyone. Not sure why I signed up for it in the first place.
