Mylo Plumbing did not have a signed contract as stated in Customer's Statement of the Problem. Mylo Plumbing did have all correspondence with the father and a verbal contract was agreed upon with him. When asked about the extent of the problem with the central heating system
and the duration the system had been out of service, I was told that the central heating system had been out of service for approximately years. The installation of the new baseboard hot water radiator system started on Saturday November 22nd working an hour day. I went back on December 2nd and worked for another hours. I continued to work on Saturday, December 6, with an employee, each of us working for hours. Due to unforeseen personal and medical issues at Mylo Plumbing, I wasn't able to complete the job in a timely manner. I have since returned to the customers' home and apologized for any inconvenience and understand their frustration. I currently have the central heating system up and running and look forward to resolving any outstanding issues

Review: I signed a contract with Mylo Plumbing and Heating for the installation of a new baseboard hot water radiator system on 10/31/2014. I had a radiant floor heating system that crashed. I have been without heat the entire winter. Mylo began work in November 0f 2014 for a half day on a Saturday. He returned one additional day in early December. He has not been back. My father has called several times on my behalf, and even went to their office on [redacted]. When he went to the office, he was told one plumber had some medical issues, and that do to the frigid temperatures, they were serving emergency calls. Not having heat in the middle of the winter would qualify as an emergency in my book. My father finally got a return call a week ago from [redacted] to tell us that he would be away on vacation for two weeks. I have a full tank of oil that is sitting idle. my electric bill has skyrocketed because of running portable heaters. I have been extremely fortunate my pipes have not burst. The only reason they probably have not burst is that I face the portable heaters towards the indoor pipes on days and nights with frigidly low temperature. Thus, I do not have the heaters facing toward me. My living conditions have been almost unbearable, at times. In addition, the use of portable heaters, especially during the day when I am not home is a fire hazard.Desired Settlement: At this point, since we will be approaching spring before I have any possibility of getting the work finished, I feel I should only have to pay for the materials (approximately half the cost) because they are sitting in my garage. Since I have not been able to live comfortably in my own home, have incurred unnecessary costs and have risked possible serious damage to my home; I do not feel I should have to pay for the labor that was started.
