Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I appreciate the refund however, I am still out $25 and cannot call it anything else but fraud.  I  did not subscribe nor did I receive any services from this company.  I believe this is a poor excuse for customer service as I did in fact call and leave 3 messages before contacting the Revdex.com.

[redacted] contacted our Customer Service department on the date of February 19 2014, she requested to cancel the service with us and asked how was the debit made to her account at UMB Bank authorized? We advised we show it was an internet web based request, she said she didn't initiate...

that, we advised her we show information to the contrary, which we are including with this reply. At the time of our conversation with [redacted] she did request a refund for the $39.90 we charged her, we advised that would be arranged taking 4 -7 business days to effect. Apparently she wasn't content with that, our records show that she has authorized her bank to pursue her refund for her, her bank has sent us a return of funds code R-10.
So, we have stopped our refund proceedings as a result.
In [redacted] complaint to you she stated the charge was not authorized. Our records show her account information was provided with a request for our PC Clean up free trial. We are submitting a copy of the authorization form we received for our promotion.
If you have any further questions you can e-mail me back, or contact our Customer Service dept

Review: I was recently made aware of negative activity on my account. When I went in to investigate the situation I discovered a charge from an unrecognized website. The name of the site is MYPCSOLUTIONNOW the phone number is [redacted] The charge for this month occurred on the 13th. It was for $39.90. I was also charged on November 13th and December 11th.The address is:19C Trolly Square Wilmington Delaware When I called, the gentleman I spoke to (His name was Tim) gave me this cancellation number[redacted]He then informed me that I would only be refunded the $39.90 for January and not for November or December. I had already explained to him that I had not signed up for this PC service, I did not even know what the company did. He tried to tell me that by visiting the website, if what they offer is downloaded I agreed to the charge. I explained to him that I didnt even know what his company was, nor did I use a PC clean up. This happened to me in September as well with a different company, and I am very upset that these companies are able to get this information without me actually giving it to them. This company owes me a total of $119.70. It was deducted in 3 increments of $39.90 on 11/13, 12/11. and 1/13 it was NOT authorized by me in any way shape or form, when I informed the representative of this he actually laughed at me, like I was the one in the wrong. Please let me know what I need to do to get this refunded.Desired Settlement: I am owed 119.70 for 3 months of unauthorized payments. I would like this money refunded and a confirmation of the refund on the date it occurs. I have already requested that this "subscription" be stopped. I have also requested a stop payment from my bank, should this company decide to try and deduct another payment.

Review: I have unauthorized debits from this company for 39.90 and never authorized them to deduct this 39.90. I never heard of them until I noticed the 39.90 be taken from my account. These withdrawals occurred in April and May according to my bank. I now have to pay 30.00 to stop payment and have to close out the account and open a new one. I then have to change ALL my automatic payments that legitimately come out of my account. Not only for myself but girlfriend. My direct deposit paycheck now has to be changed. I have investigated this company and found that there are numerous victims of this so called company out there all having 39.90 deducted without consent.Desired Settlement: I want my money back (April and May) including the 30.0.00 stop payment fee and I want to know where they got my routing number and other account information from. I noticed they tell other customers they can provide them with proof of them actually signing up for their service, I would like this information sent to me because it is fraudulent.

Review: This company debited $39.90 from my bank account on 2/28/2014. I never signed up with the company or agreed to their scammy monthly service fee for "computer cleaning." I don't know how they got my account numbers, but there are multiple complaints against this company for doing the same scam to other people. A simple Google search reveals that.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded, along with written reassurance that they have officially canceled the membership for which I never signed up, along with a written guarantee there will be no further unauthorized debits from my account. I would also like an explanation as to how they got my account information to begin with, as I suspect fraudulent practices--or perhaps I was a victim of the recent Target hacking.

Review: This company has processed an unauthorized bank debit which has resulted in an overdrawn account as well as overdraft charges. According to the company, they attached themselves to a purchase over a month ago as a free trial (all of which I disable BEFORE I make ANY purchase), and while they would offer to cancel the service, would not even talk about a refund. The agent that answered the phone was rude, would not provide her name, nor would she transfer me to a supervisor. I have also reported this incident to my bank, Wells Fargo.Desired Settlement: I would like the unauthorized fee returned as well as being re-imbursed for the overdraft charges.

[redacted] had first contacted the customer service on April the 25111, 2014, regarding the charge. Review: My bank account was charged $39.90 from this company without my approval. I did not subscribe to this service and somehow they have all of my bank account information. The amount they took from my bank account cause an overdraft fee of #35.00.Desired Settlement: I would like to know how they received my information and charged me without providing any goods and/or services. I want to be reimbursed for the fee as well as the overdraft fee. I also feel there should have to be some other type of compensation as I have had to file a fraud report and close the account and change all personal billing information.

Response:

Review: Last night I noticed a draft pending in my account for this company. I had never heard of the company before that time, I have never purchased anything from them, nor have I visited their website. I tried to call the company but they were closed. I did a search on google with the phone number and found several other complaints about this company doing the same thing to other people. I called the company this morning, they said I "authorized a free 30 day trial" I explained that I had never been to their website, nor had I ordered the product(which by the way I don't know what it is or when I received it) He said I must have missed a box that was checked online at the website I was on. I asked him what website or company it was and he stated he did not know. He said the refund would take 7-10 days to be put back in my account. I have contacted my bank and they will not investigate until the draft clears my account. I think it is wrong for this company to obtain my banking information from an unknown website and take money out of my account. Further, I would like to know the name of the company that provided them with my information(I would like to stop doing business with the company that I actually provided the information to) I hope that you can help by stopping this company from using these practices. I will have to close my bank account which I have had for several years because of this company and the company that gave them my information. I am CERTAIN that I did not order or receive any products from this company.Desired Settlement: I would like two things to happen, 1. My money returned to my bank account quickly, 7-10 days is unacceptable, we all know a draft can be done within 24 hours. 2. I would like to see them change their practices of obtaining people's bank information from an unknown website and taking money out of their accounts. This is wrong.

Review: This company somehow acquired my bank account number and stole #39.90 from my account 3 times before I noticed. This is a well-known trick by scam "companies" as people are much less likely to notice smaller amounts missing, and for longer amounts of time, making it extremely difficult to claw back the fuds as banks cannot do so after 60 days. My bank filed a fraud charge and I had to close my account and open a new account. However, one charge is more than 60 days old. I have actually called and spoken to several people at this "company" including [redacted]r (although honestly it's unlikely that's his actual name - he refused to give me his name until I just kept insisting. I have requested the return of the $39.90 charge which my bank was unable to collect. I have faxed information regarding this to the "company." They are refusig to refund my moey, despite the fact that it was illegally taken. The people at the phone number associated with this "compay" claim only to be a third-party call center and not actually associated with MyPcSolution Now, however research shows that all the "companies" associated with this phone number are actually scams.

I realistically know that it is likely impossible to recover my money but maybe the Revdex.com in Wilmington can help close down this scam, with the help of loca law enforcement.Desired Settlement: Return the $39.90 which Chase was unable to collect. Ideally, shut down this scam so that they are unable to steal from other people.
