I am responding to the Complaint made by [redacted] to the Revdex.com of Serving Metropolitan New York with respect our Unique Thrift Store located at [redacted] We operate a for-profit thrift store, selling second hand merchandiseMerchandise in our store is sold as is; all sales are final; no refunds or exchangesTo ensure all of our customers are aware of our company policies, throughout the store there are very large signs stating “NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES” and “ALL SALES AS IS NO EXCHANGES NO REFUNDS”Attached are copies of the signs throughout the storeEven our receipts have this language printed at the bottom of each receipt, “ALL SALES FINAL NO REUDS OR EXCHANGES”Attached is a copy of the receipt [redacted] received on February **, We are not a shoe store; we are a thrift storeIf [redacted] had concerns that the shoes she purchased at our thrift store were not worth the $she paid for them, she should not have purchased that item [redacted] states in her complaint that she “ [redacted] ” Our store does not have a “sales clerk” or “salesperson”As you will note from the attached receipt, “Lucy” is the name of the cashier in our store who rang up [redacted] purchaseIn addition, since we are a thrift store selling second hand merchandise, none of our employees are able, or allowed, to make assurances to our customers as to the authenticity of any item or guarantee that an item is in working orderWe regret that [redacted] purchase did not meet her expectations; but our cashier did not make any assurances to [redacted] , and [redacted] was very aware of our store policies concerning All Sales Final and No Refunds or Exchanges

 I am not satisfied with the response and as a business they are liable.. And this business clearly did not follow the policy and I would like a refund! I will not stop until I receive a refund even if I have to take further action by hiring an attorney.. They were false advertised and counterfeit items are illegal by law. Furthermore, in the future I will make sure that no one has to suffer from this.
