On 3/28/11 I ordered a Led sign from NAS sign company for my restaurant . I gave them a check for $6,000 for a deposit . The sign I ordered was promised to be in in 6 weeks from the date I gave the deposit. The sign was not suppose to be a full colored sign (just red writing) and the price agreed upon in our contract was $15,200. Finally in the end of may I started to call them to see where my sign was because it was still not in. I was promised it would now be in by june 2011. Then after many calls to [redacted] he told me that they were no longer able to get the sign that I ordered. At this point I agreed to upgrade to a full color led sign for a extra $3,200 plus sales tax. Again I was promised I would have the sign in six weeks. On october 17, 2011 NAS sign company arrived at my restaurant to install the new sign. The sign was beautiful but now we needed to have them teach us how to use it . [redacted] installed the program onto my computers at the restaurant . Then he began to teach my daughter how to use the software to control the sign . This was difficult because [redacted] was having a hard time himself using the software. So now we had this sign that no one really knew how to use. [redacted] put my daughter in contact with American Led where they bought the sign from . American Led was wonderful they team viewed with my daughter and taught her to use the program and work the sign. But we were still having propblems with the sign . it was not working the way itwas supposed to be . The sign was set on a timer it was suppose to turn on at 8am and turn off at 2am. This has yet to happen and it is now april 2012.Every day when I open the restaurant I have to go into basement turn breakers off wait ten sec then go to computer send program and hope the sign turn on. Sometimes it does sometimes it does not . The times when it does not im on the pohone with american led for hours fixing the problem. [redacted] tried telling me that the router in the sign was set on european time and that this was the problem. We also have four videos from all seperate occasions that the sign was not working . It would light up the message on half of the board and start flickering the message in and out . Some days it wont even let us send a message to the sign . We were then told that the sign had a bad sd card in it . So they came and replaced the sd card and it did not fix the problem . Then we were told that they were going to replace sd card in the sign to a Cf flash drive instead. This did not fix the problem ethier. We lost out on business for valentines day and super bowl because our sign was not functioning at all . We called the company numerous times and did not recieve a call back . I even contacted the owner Paul Strada . He said he would send someone out as soon as possible. We waited three days and in that time our sign stayed black. In the mean time I called the trouble shooting department at american led to try and help us figure out what was wrong . After hours on the phone with them explaining that NAS signs will not help us they vowed to get to the bottom of the problem and help us . About a week later I recieved a letter from the boss of american led . In the letter he appoligized for the problems we were having and said he would came NAS sign company and get to the bottom of the problem and help us. Now 6 months later im still having all the same problems . I expressed to [redacted] that I would like a new sign that functions properly. I still have not heard back from him . I have a five year warranty that came with the sign but I have had problems from day 1 and no one will come fix or adress the problem. I have had there service man dave here 8 times since october. [redacted] did come here in feb right after superbowl for two straight days to try and fix the problem . He could not figure out what was wrong .He also expressed to me that the company was losing money because he has to spend his time at my restaurant trying to fix problems instead of being out selling more signs. I dont understand because I too bought the sign from him with a warranty and its not my fault it does not work right.
