Continuous phone messages--at least 3 a week. I do NOT owe anybody anything and they NEVER use my name nor to whom I owe money.
This company has been leaving messages on my home phone indicating they are trying to collect a debt. They do not use my name nor the name to whom I owe money. They give me an 800# to call (XXX-XXX-XXXX) and ask me to speak with a [redacted] and give me a reference # to refer to. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 is the most recent of these annoying calls. I've done a search on this 800# and it doesn't appear to exist. I do not answer nor respond to these calls. I do not want my personal information in the hands My feeling is that if I owed anyone anything I first would have received something in writing which I have not. My feeling is that this is some sort or a scam. I'm a 77 year old widow, who, fortunately still has her mind. I need these harassing phone calls to cease and would like to know if in fact this is a scam. Thank you
