NEC Capital is a lending intuition scamming consumers, I was told I was being pre-qualified and then had an LOI emailed to me base off the details I provided for myself and my propertyDuring the qualification process NEC Capital had all the data needed to make a informed decision and should have told me that I did not qualify for a loan through either of their lenders however they provide me a letter of intent instead to secure my moneyNEC Capital was aware of my property’s original loan amount $196000.00, when the property was purchased 8/18/etcall of which was provided to them before I ever gave them any money however they still proceeded, leading me to believe that my file was being processed they claim to use up front underwrite guidelines so that there would be no surprises but for the underwriter to review/pull the preliminary title and appraisal I needed to pay them $I have an email questioning the loan officer about the fact that I only owned the property months but the LOI stated that the property must be owned year to qualify but I was reassured by the loan officer that length of time was not going to be an issue however that was the first factor they denied me onThe scam starts as a legitimate appearing loan process by me talking with a loan office providing all the providing the details and then applying with the lender for a loanI was then told, "You are pre-qualified, but you must send a fee to process your preliminary title work and appraisal." I paid the money, and no loan no title work was sent until after I told them that I was going to be filing a complaint with the Attorney General the appraisal was never done I was scammedPlease see emails of our written conversationsThanks, [redacted]
