We attempted to inspect the property with her on March 22nd but Ms. [redacted] refused to let representatives of our company enter the premises.  If we can not reach a settlement on March 30th the legal process will continue.[redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]We had a conference call March 17, 2017 which I demanded to get this complete.March 22nd @ 9am  I was susposed to meet Ms [redacted] and [redacted] Loch at the property.  At 9:30 am [redacted] and another company rep arrived.  This company rep is not allowed on my property and they were well aware of the issues.  She did not advise me she wasn't coming because I would have rescheduled.  We were to go over scope.  She did not return my email or call and told Ginny to put lien on house.March 23rd I reached by cell and something came up sent someone in place.  She was very well aware that it was to be her.  The repairs to the house are not complete.  very easy to see that. I have been telling them this since before it failed inspection the 1st time 9/22 and then again in Nov.

I had a house fire April 2016. My house is not completely repaired. It will not pass inspection and N.E.W. Restoration was paid more than 110,000. They are claiming work is completed. Work is not completed and they substituted items committing fraud. They have also exposed my family to carbon monoxide, making us sick. My mortgage company will not release the remaining monies. I have contacted my insurance company and they said this is between me and the contractor. I have contacted my mortgage company also and the contractor will not return any calls.

Review: I hired them to rebuild my home in November or 2011 after a house fire. They never finished the job. They were at my home the end of 2013 and were suposed to retun, they never did. I have been trying to get them to work with me and they refuse to . They have contacted an wttorney with no legal charges yet . They want payment in full and they arent finished. They have lied to the attorney and they refuse to talk to me . I am going to be filing several complaints against this company as they, had peopel wroking on my home that werent lisenced and had no permits. The workers never showed up on times they told the supervioros they woudl be there. The work they did is so pathetic I have things falling apart already. I moved back home in March of 2013, tiles are poping up , grout is cracking. The wood floors have dirt and hair under the poly-top coat. The front door [redacted] fell off . The back lightfixture was loose and almost feel off. The front screen door latch was not put on right. Light fixtures were placed wrong. They used materials that were incorrect IE; they used door molding instead of floor board molding. It stil smells of smoke in the attic and basemant. The lower bathroom floor was never finished or walls painted completly. Atic door not painted. 2nd bedroom not painted completly. They refused to give me the final invoise and the names of contractors to contact for problems . They refused to ghive me the written guarantee I was promised for the work done. Grout and caulk in upper bathroom was done inproperly and is coming off. They had contractors in my home that urinated in my lower level shower and smoked cigarettes in the house and put the cigarette btts out on my subflooring in the upper bathroom. They put the wron size attic door in so I am unable to get my things up there and stored like I had in the past. They had the electrical not hooked up to the garage and overhead door...they said they forgotten to and then did it after I pointd it out. Smoke dedector was not fully anchored in lower level area. I went through 3 differnt superviosrs on the job and several differnt contractors that decided they didnt want to work. I have pictures and wittnesses that will back my allegations. I will also be reporting the sister comapny Service Master as well as they stole personal prperty IE: jewelry, makeup shoes and purses and coins from my home. They also threw things in a dumpster and failed to record it I asked for pictures they didnt find them. I hired someone to do some of the work for me but nothing that would violate a code. Basically fixing the door [redacted] and light fixture type things. They also left garbage and debree in the basement. The basement floor was to be repainted which they did but they scraped the paint off again during the constructuion and never fixed it. This comapnay had lied to me and to the attorney they hired and to the insurance company.Desired Settlement: I want the job finished the repairs made, the floors redone, the lower lever sprayed and sealed for smoke and water/mold damage. Tile grout replaced . poped tiles put back on correctly. Light fixtures placed correctly. I want to see al lof the invoices and ,materials they bought. All of these should be in accordance with my insurance policy. I have a replacement policy that allows for replacement for equal or greater value., THEY ALSO ASKED ME TO BUY THINGS FOR THE HOUSE AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK. THEY WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK! I HAVE RECIEPTS FOR THE ITEMS INCLUDING THE KITCHEN CABINETS ETC. OVER $4,000 IN MATERIALS.

We understand that our response does not answer [redacted] concerns. This matter has been turned over to our attorney for resolution. She may contact our attorney to try and work something out. She has been advised of this many times and has the contact information.

We don't intend to use the Revdex.com for a resolution. This matter is far beyond this arena.

I am rejecting the reply from N.E.W. Restoration Services I have sent some photos to the WI.Revdex.com supporting my claim and will send more upon request. Please note that this is the reason I am not paying N.E.W. in full for their work. I am willing to/ and have been looking into another restoration company to get a bid to finish and repair work for this job and subtract that amount from the final invoice.
