I moved to Maine a few years back after leaving the serviceI had some injuries from the service and felt the VA (naturally) was screwing me on my rating, so I contacted this firm to handle the process to get the VA to re-assess my ratingDuring my interaction with this firm, I never once was able to speak to an actual attorney; any time I tried they were always too busy or unavailableI only was able to speak to an intern or ParalegalThis office only submitted, by way of actual work, three one page documents to the VA, one listing them as my representative, one requesting my medical records, and one challenging the giving ratingI had to acquire, fill out, and submit the VA's requested forms myself, call the VA concerning their status, and arrange the process of seeing a VA doctor to have an exam for a rating review myselfAll this firm did was submit three useless pieces of paper to the VA, and they took about 20% of my benefits for the troubleI did not realize at the time that I could do the whole process easier myself, and in far less time than the months and months of waiting with these peopleI implore any vet, PLEASE, do the work yourself and give firms like this NOTHING! THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
if waiting pluse years is the best you can do,I would hate to see what bad is.you dont help vets you screw them.this system is so messed up.you dont wait untill the last day,and ask for more days,and when that comes you ask for more days.then when you call,you get more.you see,you have all the time in the world WE DONT.at what point do vets take matters in there own hands.there are over of use waiting.read the bloggs,fix this crap,or find someone who can.isnt that what your getting paid for?
