Unforturantely, [redacted] version is not 100% accurate. There was no Fraud, I can sue him for even metioning it,  yes there was an error on his return. The error made was in overstating his State Withholding tax ..it was a typo. So instead of receiving a refund, he actually owed...

taxes its that simple. The tax he is responsible for and interest he is responsible for he got the money and used it. I offered to pay any penalty. As far as his 2014 return, I dont know what he is talking about, the attached document shows it was received and filed it provides the transmit date , acknowledgement date and the [redacted] DCN number etc. All services that were paid for were delivered- this is the first compliant I've had in over 20 years of service.
