did videography for *** ***ity *** *** *** sorority group previous year and also this yearPrevious year was just fine however for this year after spending my time taking video footages, they did not have everything planned out the day of the video shoot and relied on me to figure it outThat is not the videographer’s job since this is a team work and weeks prior to the date I sent text messages to *** *** for ideas and asked her to give me a complete schedule of what they have in mind for the videoThis is what we did last year and they had a perfect plan to do everything they wanted for the video which worked out great since I used my creative side to capture those moments and create a recruitment video for themBecause of the lack of communication and planning, by the end of the day we did not record as much footages as last year but they seemed perfectly fine with it at that timeI edited the video and sent to them, they requested for more video effects so I reedited and sent it to themThen *** said that she did not like most of the footages and wanted me to cut them out, so I did and sent it back to herKeep in mind all of these were done free of chargeShe was still not impressed with the video so decided to tell me to reschedule to reshoot the entire video for $more, this was not fair since they had weeks and months to be prepared for the first video shoot ahead and could have created a perfect plan when I shot their video just like the way it was done last yearMoreover, $was for a package of video plus photos and photo prints and not just for the videoEven though the $deal was not fair, I decided to give them the option of extra hour of shooting to add to their videoThis is exactly where she started saying phrases and inappropriate words towards me personally and also my businessEverything is included in the messages. She wrote in messages that she wanted the file as it was while not cooperating and continuing to use the same inappropriate phrasesThis was exactly when I couldn't communicate with her anymore, and asked another member of *** *** *** *** to pick up the CD which had the final videoFirst I was going to send the file electronically just like any other project I doI uploaded the file on Google Drive but the sorority member couldn’t use it, then I uploaded on Drop Box and she still mentioned that she can’t download so I burned the final video file on a CD and gave it to herFurthermore, the photos were given to them before the video was editedFirst version of video along with prints were given to *** *** although they had not paid for the video or photos at the timeNot to mention they were almost a month late on sending me the check, for projects like this I ask my customers to pay a portion at the time of shooting and then the rest when they receive the fileHowever, I needed to communicate with one of the members of *** *** *** sorority about the check for weeksFirst they didn’t have the check slips to write the amount, then the girl who was in charge said she has sent the check when in reality it wasn't even sentLater on they decided to write the entire amount on it rather than halfAfter the check was received I held on to it until Makayla Amy mentioned that she wanted the file as it was and then put I it on account Although I gave the photos ahead of time, included two free prints (8xand 11x17), reedited the video twice free of charge, gave an hour extra option for recording, and uploaded the file in different platforms, burned the CD for them free of charge, I was paid late and received inappropriate feedbackOverall, I never let a customer to be upset and always do my best to finish the project the way they have first asked mePlease refer to all of our messages and *** comments that she has, I did not try to be rude or to harass anyoneI tried my best to cooperate and resolve the problem to have a successful video project just like the one we created last year and do not understand why this issue has happened

Even though the $100 deal was not fair, I decided to give them the option of extra hour of shooting to add to their video. Numerous business owners I know have told me they would never handle the situation the way this photographer did. I feel targeted and bullied when all I wanted was a finished product. There was a lack of communication between both sides and I will not take the blame for it all.  The photographer was extremely disrespectful to me and my mom on [redacted] over the issue when I was just expressing my concern. The only material he gave me that I could use was the pictures. I would like a refund for the rest.
